    Stayed Apr 4, 2025

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a couple nights for a last minute stay after cancelling our camping plans due to rainy weather. The location is nice and secluded but not remote enough to where you’re far away from restaurants, hiking, etc. The place is located off a semi-busy road so expect some noise from vehicles driving by. The grounds themselves were nice, some light hiking trails and communal hangout areas that were well maintained. My biggest complaint was the cleanliness of the place. For the number of cabins on site (I counted 8) there are only two unisex restrooms. The bathrooms were not clean the entire first day we were there. The next morning it still looked like they had not been cleaned, but by the afternoon of the second day they were looking better. For how many rentals there are on site the bathrooms definitely need to be cleaned more often. The bed itself in the cabin was not super comfortable. Cheap and not soft polyester sheets and pillowcases. We took off the pillow cases and 2/4 pillows were very gross, stains all over them. The cabin itself also had a really funky smell we couldn’t place. We had to buy some essential oils from the little market on-site to get the smell out but it was pretty strong. It was affordable, so I suppose you get what you pay for, but I don’t think we would stay there again.
