Absolutely Fantastic Lake Front Cabin Near West Glacier National Park

The cabin view over the lake was gorgeous. Our stay was wonderful. Would recommend the property to anyone. It was a second stay the only thing missing was the firepit.

Absolutely a beautiful place to stay.

The cabin was cozy and ideal for 2 to 4people!

The cabin was cute and well stocked but was not very clean. Dishes needed washed prior to use because they were very dirty. The bathroom fan is so clogged up with grime it hardly works. Spider webs in the shower and dusty corners and edges everywhere. Front windows needed washed to better enjoy the view. The front porch light bulb was out, making for an extremely dark front porch to enter the house (could not find the right lightbulb size provided in the cabin to fit) Overall the cabin desperately needed a deep clean. The boat had about a 5 gallon bucket of water in it. Parking was good and the lake was beautiful. Could be a very nice place with some TLC.

We had a great stay at Aspen Shores Cabin! The cabin is in a great location - close to Columbia Falls and to West Glacier. The cabin itself matches the property description. It was clean and well stocked. The views on the lake from the cabin and from the dock were amazing! A great place to relax after a long day in GNP!

Beautiful lake, secluded location, close to Glacier National Park. Property was as described. Hosts were great at communication and helping to make our stay as nice as possible.

Misleading about the walk down to the cabin door. There were not any phots showing this trail up to where we parked. Also little bed upstairs did not appear bed changed. Fridge had many other peoples bottles in there. No proper freezer. No wall TV as advertised Was expensive to stay felt misled. Need to show trek from upper driveway for other people! Disappointed stay

Excellent, quiet and private. There is AC in the upstairs bedroom area and WiFi was solid. 15 min drive from town for anything you need. Short drive to GNP West entrance. Lots of nice small touches and beautiful views day and night.

We had a wonderful visit at the cabin by the lake. The cabin was a perfect fit for our family. It’s simple but with beautiful details and thoughtful amenities. We loved the lake and did lots of swimming and enjoyed the rowboat (and loons and turtle sightings). And of course, Glacier National Park is in close proximity. This is a great vacation spot!

We loved the cabin! The location was amazing with the lake view. Very clean and well kept cabin. The kids loved the boat and and fishing. Would definitely come again.

Very clean, cozy cabin with great views and a terrific location to the park. The boat and fishing gear are an extra lovely perk that was appreciated. A/C works well upstairs, ample hot water for a couple of people to shower. The stairs are not a problem for anyone able-bodied. Heads up that there is no oven in the cabin and the refrigerator is a hotel room sized mini fridge. I would say “kitchenette” versus “kitchen” but there is a grill outside to help and it’s really quite lovely.

Our stay was wonderful. My kids loved the lofted bedroom and the board games. We spent almost all of our time outside and it was nice to come back and have a calm quiet space. Thank you for allowing us to stay. Would recommend and go again.

Very nice property! Had everything we needed.

This was the perfect place to stay! The cabin is small (but perfect for a couple or 3 people), high quality, tranquil, but close enough to town (if need be), close to West Glacier (and all it has to offer), and near all these great small towns with lots of character. The cabin itself is so charming, and there’s a row boat on a clean, calm lake with fish that can be seen right from the dock. The owner also provided fishing poles and tackle, all clean, solid, good condition!If we had realized how perfect the cabin and location were before we came, we definitely would have booked at least a week, maybe two!You will love this!You do need to be able to climb a ladder (unless you want to sleep on the couch) to get to bed, but it’s very stable.Really a great find! Just book for a whole week. You won’t regret it!

We absolutely loved this rustic space! The view of lake and mountains was delightful. It was a perfect location for adventure into the park and tranquil time to connect with nature and each other. We will definitely return! Thank you for sharing it with us.

Everything one could need was provided beautifully. The lake and the loons were magical. Bill and Eliska are wonderful, thoughtful hosts who thought of everything.

This was our first time in Montana and it was wonderful! The cabin was perfect - we had the rowboat, hammock, and grill to make the evenings perfect. It was cool and rainy during our stay so the fireplace was amazing! The kitchen was fully furnished, so it was easy for making all our meals in. We were only 20 mins from the west Glacier entrance and were able to get in plenty of hiking. We were so sad to leave and hope that we can return again next year. We were so relaxed and truly enjoyed our stay.

A great place to get away from it all. Very peaceful location. There are cabins nearby, but there are fences and we never heard anything from either of them. The private dock is great and we caught a few perch. The views from the cabin are beautiful. My only negative would be the ladder up to the sleeping area. It did make me a little uneasy getting off the ladder onto the landing. But this was completely disclosed in the property details, so I don't fault the owner. It was just me. The cabin is not far from Glacier or a quick trip into Columbia Falls. My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend.

We absolutely loved this cabin and property! It was perfect for the two of us! We loved the beautiful lake and we took the boat out one evening and caught some perch! Sunsets were gorgeous! It was so quiet and peaceful! We would absolutely recommend this cabin and hope to come back someday!

We had a lovely stay at the cabin while visiting Glacier. It had everything we needed to prepare our meals, the bed was very comfortable, and the lake was beautiful. The area is calm and quiet. We would definitely return.

This little cabin had all the touches to feel like home - from a well stocked kitchen, to beach towels, to chairs in many places outdoors, it felt well thought out and very easy to enjoy. The location is ideal for exploring West Glacier but also is very close to Columbia Falls for services and restaurants. It’s the perfect place to start and end the day! Cabin itself is small but has everything you need. Bed is comfy, water is hot, and everything is clean. We took the boat out but mostly enjoyed watching the loon from the dock. Neighbors are quiet. We truly enjoyed our stay in this remote, quaint cabin on Spoon Lake. We loved waking up to the Loons on the lake. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see them as hard as we tried. It is perfectly located right before the glacier national park. If we had stayed longer, we would have taken vantage of the row boat and the fishing gear. Thanks for sharing your home.

This was our second visit to this cabin, and we cannot recommend it enough! Convenient location, beautiful view, stocked with so many kitchen essentials. We caught tons of fish and it was warm enough to swim in the afternoons.

Had a great time. We never left once we checked in. Everything we wanted was right there. The kids caught fish. We enjoyed the row boat and relaxed. There were neighboring cabins but everyone was there for the same reason and it was very relaxing.

My husband and I loved the cabin on the lake. The location was perfect and only a short drive to Glacier National park. After a day in the park, it was so nice to return to the quiet and peace of the cabin and lake.

This cabin was perfect for a small family getaway to Glacier NP and the surround. The lake is wonderful for swimming, using the provided rowboat or just enjoying from the dock. The cabin contains everything you will need though, while there is a stove-top, microwave and grill, note that the kitchen does not have an oven. The loft is great but would definitely describe the access as a ladder more than stairs. Overall, a fantastic place and 10/10 would stay again.

Everything about this stay was great; the location, the cabin, the lake, and the owners. Such a neat experience, we didn't want to leave!
