Stayed Dec 28, 2025I never really give out poor reviews but our family stay here was not as pleasant as we planned. To begin, there was a variety of broken items that I had to immediately report, microwave, cook top, and jacuzzi turned water green after one use. I called the property management several times and the only response was that office was close due to holidays. The internet was unstable and they only had one trashed can, we have to carry our extra garbage bags down the mountain and use public trash disposal. This was not even the worst, there was a plagued of bugs everywhere around the entire cabin, the tiny insects were all over our cloths, walls, beds etc. My only intention with this review is to call the attention of the owner so they can fix these issues so their business can run smoothly! Thank you and I hope you can attend to these problems as soon as you can!

Stayed Dec 20, 2025The cabin itself is very nice, and we did enjoy our stay. Communication with the hosts was good, and overall the property was comfortable.We do want to share a couple things so future guests know what to expect. After about 3–4 days, our trash bin was full. When we reached out, we were told we could bring the trash to the host’s office, which was about a 30 minute drive each way. We had to load several days’ worth of trash into our vehicle and drive with the windows down. The round trip took about an hour and did take away from our vacation time. Having a truck would have made this easier, so this is something to consider depending on your vehicle and schedule.Also, being in a wooded area, there were quite a few ladybugs inside the cabin, including in the beds at night. We understand this comes with the location and would much rather ladybugs than spiders, but it could be bothersome if you’re sensitive to that.Overall, it’s a nice cabin with good communication. We’re sharing this so future guests can decide if the setup fits their needs and expectations.

Stayed Jul 26, 2025After several great cabin rental experiences at other locations, this one was just OK. Pros:Check-in, check-out were simple and seamless. We took advantage of several of the free ticket offers. The location of the cabin provides great privacy. You cannot see another building from any place within the cabin.Cons: Bugs everywhere. There were black ants throughout the kitchen and sometimes the living room area. We went out of our way to keep it spotless to reduce the ants, but it didn't help much. I was stung by a wasp which had a large nest within the frame which supports the hot tub. Being a Saturday when we checked-in, I had to go buy wasp spray and take care of it myself for us to use the hot tub before Monday. There were dead bugs in the sheets of the first floor bedroom. The best was my daughter almost stepped on a scorpion which was in the downstairs bathroom. In addition to the bugs, all pots/pans were non-stick but terribly worn-out to the point the non-stick coatings were flaking off all of them. Several faucet handles were just worn out that one fell of the tub handle and a master sink handle.

Stayed Nov 22, 2023I have emailed the manager/owner and never received an email back so I feel like this review is warranted. My family has been staying in cabins for the last few years as a thanksgiving tradition and this cabin was the worst of the worst. It was gross. It seemed like it wasn’t cleaned. The about of dust on things made it seem like nobody has been there, there was mold in the floor vent which was caved into the floor, mold on the kick plate in one of the bathrooms, a big smeared on the wall in a bedroom, bathtub didn’t drain unless holding it open. There was hair on a shower wall. There was stains on the sheets and bedspread. The smoke detector would work great if it wasn’t in the end table drawer. Just above eye level there was a huge spider web in the corner of the wall. TVs didn’t work right, fireplace didn’t work. We had to by batteries for the remotes as well as a toaster because there wasn’t one. This stay was horrible, and the contact with the manager/owner is just as bad. We would have left but there was no other hotel or cabins open as it was the holiday week.

Stayed Aug 7, 2023This home is beautiful and spacious! My parents, brother’s family and myself had stayed. We all had plenty of room to enjoy the house. We particularly loved the wrap around back porch with the porch swing to enjoy the gorgeous view!!

Stayed Apr 6, 2023Gorgeous views from this cabin. High into the mountain tops. Seen a mama bear and 4 cubs 2nd night coming back from town at the corner by the cabin such a awesome experience. Tons of wildlife from here and absolutely peaceful!! Highly Highly Recommend

Stayed Aug 12, 2023My family and my best friends family stayed here for the week with our 5 kids. The cabin was tucked back into a nice quiet road. Beautiful place. We counted over 70 bats coming out of the deck roof at night and the 3rd floor balcony had bat poop all over it. We enjoyed our stay none the less. The only complaint is that the outside garbage can isn't large enough to hold all of our garbage bags from the week so we ended up keeping bags inside.
