The hot tub did not work when we arrived but they sent maintenance quickly... However even after stating the issue was fixed the hot tub never got over what felt like bathtub water The location was great!! Communication was great!! I feel like they could provide more than 12 towels with the number of people staying there. We were constantly washing towels and rags. The floors were sticky - could use a good scrubbing. The shower doors do not stay closed and water runs out constantly!! Only two trash cans outside and with a family of 10 we had to store trash in the house until check out.All in all it was an ok stay.

Hottub was not filled up until after we got there, so it was unusable until the next day. Anytime the shower in the master bathroom was used it would cause water to come through the ceiling in the downstairs bedroom. Several of the games were broken or in bad shape. The cabin itself is great. There was plenty of room for all of us and we enjoyed ourselves regardless. My one star also reflects the property managers who knew about the problems and also did not respond to my emails after we left.

The cabin was beautiful inside and all of us loved the video games and pool table. Outside the property needed a little work trash around the cabin.

Our family recently stayed at A Bear’s Kind of Fun. Our experience was good overall. My grandchildren loved the arcade games and theater sized TV screen. The cabin’s layout was good for our family. Negatives include: 1) dirty sheets; we actually had to wash the sheets on the first night we were there due to seeing what appeared to be short (animal?) hairs in them as well as a toe nail in one of the beds 2) the kitchen would benefit from a few more items, such as cooking sheets and oven mitts

Ran down. Not maintained. Flooring coming up in kitchen, dirty sheets on bed, woman’s hair tie in bed, floors dirty, stairs leading to basement had muddy boot prints, spider Webb ocovered in bugs on light fixtures leading upstairs. We have stayed in many cabins for weekend, this being most expensive and also the dirtiest. This is the reason for the bad review. The arcade was the only plus for my grandbabies.

On our way down we text about the early check in that was sent out on our email but decided to wait because we got kind enough of a harsh response from sherry so we decided to wait down in town till 4, got to the cabin and it everything it said it was could have been a little cleaner floors were pretty dirty and a little worn in the kitchen. Game room and games were way more than it shows the basement was a kids dream ( some adults too !! We saw bear almost everyday there they will come right up on the porch and try and get in you cars and steal anything they can the cabin is quite the hive up on the mountain but so worth the drive, if your doing a lot of cooking the pans are just ok I did buy a can opener and leave it there so next guest have one to open cans. We had a Greatyime staying there thank you for sharing your cabin with us!!!

Was a great cabin! Absolutely loved the games and theater area! The maintenance crew are top notch! They got the fireplace working, synced the car game and fixed the seat. I called the number I had on getting the fireplace working and they were out pretty quick!

The cabin is great. We had plenty of room for everyone and there were 12 in our party. The floors could definitely use a good cleaning and there is limited space for trash in the bear proof containers. That said, my family had an amazing time and the kids loved the game room. We even had a bear and a raccoon come by to visit.

This property was amazing to keeping kids entertained. The video games, ski ball, basketball and theatre were great. Everything else was just okay. Host states bare minimum supplies and they weren’t lying. Be sure to bring extra of everything- trash bags, dish soap, sponge. The spa broke, someone did come to try and fix it unsuccessfully. But host didn’t respond to my messages during the trip. And to confirm the pillows were flat. Bedding and towels were very worn. But in the end, kids had a great time.

Overall enjoyed the place, stay! Great location and super fun with the Arcade ges..We had a great time. Some minor things need attention like the signage for the cabin, a few items we needed like a can opener and broom not there. But, we would stay again.

The cabin was just as described,it is so beautiful. The kids had so much fun playing the arcade games. It kept them occupied when we weren't in town. Plenty of pots/pans to cook. The beds were comfy, the pillows were flat but we brought own. Beautiful view of the mountains. Wish they would cut a couple of them trees out of the way and it would make it better but it was still good. Saw bears multiple times, that was so great. All together it was a wonderful time and exactly as described and we will return Beaut

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay. The cabin was spacious and clean. Our kids loved the arcade and movie theater in the basement. I would recommend bringing your own pillows if you are picky, but other than that, we found the cabin quite comfortable. The kitchen had ample supplies for cooking basic meals for our group.

The cabin was very comfortable and had plenty of room. The property manager communicated in an excellent manner answering questions and taking care of minor problems. Great hot tub! And a bear came right up to the steps! I didn’t realize the pool was 6 miles away. In the Smokey’s, that’s a 25 minute drive- so we didn’t even check it out. There was definitely wear on the cabin, but it was clean and comfortable.

Our family spent 1 week here - almost 5 grand. To start, the address sign was in the ditch and it was hard to first locate the correct cabin. All other surrounding cabins are nicely marked and have clean mowed yards. Cabin was nice but neglected on the cleanliness and yard upkeep. Floors were very dirty. Grandkids feet were black within minutes of walking on the floors. I bought a mop to clean it so baby could play on floor. All bed pillows were completely flat, old, and grossly yellow stained. Do not take off the pillowcase/shams if you do not want to see this. Pillows are cheap! Grass and weeds in small yard were overgrown. We had to walk through the snaky weeds to get to the outdoor trash containers. Loose trash can be seen under the porches and behind house. On a positive note, Games all worked and were fun, but were dirty. Jacuzzi was nice, theater area was nice, and appliances and A/C worked well. Property manager was nice and immediately responded to texts about games, however, I did not contact them about these other issues as I feel I should not need to request a cabin that I spent that much money on to be cleaned and mowed. The view of the mountains can be seen through a small gap in trees and could be a spectacular view if some of the grassy/weeded area were cut back. Several bears visited - was fun seeing them around! Property owner needs to give this cabin some attention beyond the games.
