This cabin was good for the number of bedrooms and bathrooms with a large group - If you are looking for an up to date well maintained cabin this one is not for you. Several minor issues - many light bulbs were out inside the house - the grounds outside were not well kept at all - high grass and weeds - the lake was not at all what we expected, it was a very small chemically treated area - to be honest the comment I heard the most was that it looked like someone poured toilet bowl cleaner into a swamp. The main kitchen was not very clean. There are several very dangerous areas of the deck that concerned me with the children and the elderly who were with us, big drop offs without any rail to block areas off. This cabin served its purpose for our large family but we will book a different cabin next trip.

The cabin is in need of a good pressure washing on the outside. I do understand that the cabin is located in a wooded area but the dust and dirt on the patio furniture was a lack of it being cleaned. Lots of spider webs and wasps/ bees. One of our guests was stung by a bee. We had looked in the couch cushions for an item and found old food. The stove should be moved out and cleaned up on the floor because there is a lot of old food visible on the sides of the stove. Overall our stay was good but for the amount of money spent to rent the property, more effort should be made to keep the cabin clean. Was glad the air conditioning was working properly because I saw where this was an issue in the past. The other issue I had was the lack of communication with the host. They rarely responded. This is needed when you are traveling in to a new location and have unanswered questions.

Beautiful home and surrounding area. But...We had a pretty sever water leak that started the first night and continued throughout our stay. Water was leaking from the ceiling into the basement were our kids were sleeping. After many calls, texts and e mails, nothing was done.

My Family Stayed 4 days the property is amazing nothing short. The only draw back was there wasn’t any games on site other then a pool table. Although we brought unlimited games to play it would have been nice if the property had a swing set, video arcade room and even coin toss on site. However you will Love the property.

This property was relatively expensive so we expected more. Some of the issues included: - Oven did not work - TV in family room did not work using remote. Forced to change channels on set-top box - Several light bulbs were out - We were asked to leave one of the private fishing lakes because they are not part of the property any longer. According to the people that spoke with us, the lake(s) have not been part of this property for over a year but are still advertised as being part of the house amenities. - I attempted to contact local property managed by phone and email for several days prior to our stay with limited success. Only after I escalated to VRBO Corporate did I get a response. Obviously, none of these issues are significant on their own but together they did impact our stay. In spite of the negatives, we enjoyed our weekend because the house is very spacious and accommodated most of our needs.

We were a group of 27 people (family & friends) and stayed for 2 nights. The beds had bed bugs and some folks got bitten with bumps on their skins, the bugs were visible under the bedsheets. In spite of repeated phone calls (left voice messages) and emails during our stay, we received no response. We had to put some sheets on the floor to sleep, to avoid being bitten by the bugs. There was a lot of dust under the furniture, and one bed had used diapers underneath. There was no internet as published in their property details. The towels had holes in them, and was not usable. Overall, we had a terrible experience and do not recommend this property.

We had a great experience and good time. Poor communication with management. I left a watch in the cabin and have been trying to reach someone and still not answering a call.

After reading some of the other reviews on this property, I want to confirm that we stayed at the Hilltop AnandVille 8 BR Cabin in Broken Bow. Our experience exceeded our expectations. The home was clean, roomy, fully functional, and contained all of the amenities advertised. There IS direct access to the fishing pond via a short (approximately 50 yards) trail from the rear of the property. Property includes a fire pit with seating for about 12 adults. Plenty of room for kids to play, throw a football around, etc. Contract permits up to 2 dogs per stay at $100 per dog under 15 lbs. 15 lb dogs or heavier are $175 per dog. We requested permission for a 3rd and 4th dog, and were granted permission for an additional $200 and $225 accordingly. Photos of cabin and property in VRBO advertising are accurate.
