Quiet,lots of family time
The home had all the amenities we needed, anything we looked for was there. The registration office was very helpful answering our many questions. There were a few items in need of repair,. Lamps, blinds, patio deck chairs.
We were a group of seven, and this cabin specified it slept 10. Not sure how comfortable a group that size would be, since only four beds… The bedroom with two double beds had older, scratchy bedding (different than depicted on website) and one of them was squeaky and felt like sleeping on a pull-out couch. Another bedroom had a queen mattress and box spring directly on the floor; no frame. Definitely needed to bring our own pillows! We weren’t picky about decor, but kitchen was a lot more “beat up” than the pictures. On the plus side, we made our time together enjoyable and rental agents were five-star!
Great location and accommodation; close to the small market and close/easy access to the river. Really enjoyed and made use of the wrap-around deck and BBQ. One minor issue: the DirectTV never did get fixed and so the TV was unusable.
Property was acceptable, but not great for what two nights cost to stay there. Was only worth the cost due to the convenience of being in the park. Would stay in the community again just not this unit. It was very outdated and just felt dirty. The carpets were very stained and we could not find linens for the pull out couches anywhere.
The carpet was disgusting. The oven didn’t work, bathroom sink was clogged. They need to put some major updating into this property. We weren’t happy.
It was a great place for a family get away. It was spacious, and comfortable for our family from all over the U.S. to come together. There were some issies with sporadic hot water outages, but the office was responsive.
Everything was wonderful. The house had everything we needed and plenty of space. The huge patio and grill were so lovely to enjoy the gorgeous outdoors. The location was fantastic—about an hour to get to the valley floor, but also much to see and do just around the house (Chilnualna Falls is seriously amazing and it’s within walking distance!).
Such a beautiful area to stay in. The property we stayed in has some significant maintenance issues that the Owner of the property needs to address, but it was still well worth the trip.
We were pleased to have a house in the park, so we could go see the sights in beautiful Yosemite, and we made lovely family memories. However, the furnishings in the home were very rundown. I knew from the pictures that the decor was very outdated (think 70s). The couch in the main area was sunken in in the middle. The area rug was stained with years of use. Some of the dining chairs were lumpy. The screen door did not work well. The nice size deck had a picnic table that was a splinter hazard and impossible to be cleaned. No shampoo/conditioner was also an inconvenience. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time. Updating the main room and outdoor furniture and light fixtures, would make this place a winner!
Great experience
The property was beautiful. The beds were comfy. The kitchen was clean. It was in a great location for many hikes. someone in our party had broken her foot and was not able to hike. She decided to come anyway. All the lounge chairs were okay to sit on, but would often break if you moved a certain way. so someone that was mostly at the house, was a little put out. The sliding glass door, knob also broke, so we were unable to lock the door. The maintenance people were fast in trying to fix the problem.
We loved that this rental is located just inside Yosemite National Park on the southern end. Our main reason for booking this particular cabin was the handicapped accessible bathroom. The cabin was comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor deck and grill. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans and dishes. We would have swept more often if there had been a decent broom. We also had to ask for hot pads from the office. Overall our stay was enjoyable. We would recommend this cabin, especially for the handicapped accessible features it provides.
This is a very nice property. Kitchen is well appointed. Bathrooms were clean. Couches were old and dusty. Proximity to Mariposa Groves and Wawona was a plus. You are 45 minutes from Yosemite Valley when you stay here. There's a nice market within walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beautiful hikes to Chilnualna Falls and the Swinging Bridge all within walking distance.
We had a nice stay at this cabin. It suited our group very well. We enjoyed the Wawona area very much by going to the Mariposa grove of sequoias and the swinging bridge. The commute to the Valley was not too bad, about 45 minutes. There was not a bed frame on the Master bed, just mattresses on the floor. And the dishwasher was a little difficult to operate. But other than that, it was very good!
