Nashville, Indiana
Built in 2007, this three bedroom, two-bath rustic log home will wrap you in comfort with modern convenience.
The logs were milled by a local sawmill, and much of the finish lumber was harvested from the property. Enjoy the privacy offered by being surrounded by five wooded acres in beautiful southern Brown County located minutes from Nashville, Story, and the Horseman's Camp Entrance to the Brown County State Park. This is a great destination for a weekend getaway or family retreat.
Sit back and relax to the sounds of nature serenading you on the covered front porch while you enjoy the six-person hot tub. Perhaps the residential owl will add a traditional "hoot" to the chorus. The setting of this cabin puts nature at your doorstep. Deer have even been known to bed down for the night in the woods surrounding the cabin.
First Floor: Natural hickory hardwood floors will welcome you to the fully equipped kitchen, dining, and living room. The 42" LCD television with satellite and dvd/blue-ray allow you to sit back and entertain in comfort. A cast iron gas log fireplace in the living room adds to your comfort and enjoyment. There are two bedrooms on the first floor. Each of the bedrooms offers queen-size beds.
Second Floor: Try your hand at pool in the native wood wrapped loft overlooking the living room on the solid maple eight-foot pool table featuring พ-inch slate. The game room also has a wood cased dart board for the adults. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed (memory foam mattress) and 37" LCD television with satellite and dvd player. The third bedroom also includes the, "Kids Room." This small room has an Xbox 360 video game console and 32" LED television to help entertain the kids, and the kids at heart.
All our cabins have a 3 night minimum for Major Holidays.
Had a great weekend getaway with a small group of friends ?
This cabin was the perfect place for our moms getaway! The 6 of us were able to make so many memories! The hotub was great, as well as the pool table. There were no issues with anything in the cabin! We even saw several deer each morning!
Overall, we had a great stay but had a few recommendations concerning the amenities. First, the Xbox was problematic with only one of the controllers actually working, so only one person could play at a time. There were also absolutely no instructions concerning the Xbox for anyone who wasn’t familiar with it. The same is true of the Dish satellite TV service, in that if you weren’t familiar with it you had no idea how to navigate the system. Dish is NOT intuitive to anyone who hasn’t used it before so it would really be helpful if there were instructions somewhere on the premises.
