The cabin was perfect for our outdoorsy, adventurous family of four. Exactly what we were looking for while we were here touring Maine Maritime Academy for our senior daughter. Would definitely stay here again. Cabin was tidy, had everything we needed for 2 nights.

Good location for exploring the peninsula. Rustic cabin with some new accents but the reek of moth balls was extreme. There is a large quantity stored under the kitchen sink that made the whole place feel unsafe. This used to be a standard remedy for keeping insects away but it has since been found to be toxic for humans to inhale or be in confided spaces. Also only a cracked tiny cutting board and two very old dried up sponges to be found. No wifi code given. I did submit a review to the management agency of this rental first in hopes that they would respond first but did not receive any word back so am submitting here as an official review. Hope you can make these corrections for future users so they can enjoy the nice place the owners are trying to share.

It was surprising how awful this place was. Everything from the tablecloth to the fridge - gross. It was a nightmare. I would ask for my money back (we notified the host that we weren't going to stay) but I have no faith that anyone cares - or else that place would have been better.I opened the cupboards to find cleaner so I could clean it - I hoped to entertain family - and even the cleaning products and broom, etc, were disgusting.
