6 adults stayed with plenty of space. House is as described. Plenty of dishes, towels. Provided cleaning supplies (dawn, tide pods). Also had some general spices/oil in cabinents. Hot tub was hot and clean. Beds clean and made. The wifi was very slow. Also, verizon service was not good either so make sure directions/maps are downloaded. Overall would stay again if needed.
We enjoyed the privacy, the hot tub and fire pit were a nice touch. The kitchen was reasonably well stocked - did appreciate the dish washing soap, sponges and paper towels. The internet was pretty weak - we had some folks who were trying to work remotely and it was not enough. I guess that is to be expected in a rural setting. We enjoyed the town of Packwood.
Perfect cabin with plenty of space. We loved our stay here. Hot tub was so nice to relax in.
Great spot. Kids loved having their own space.
House was perfect for 2 couples with extra room upstairs. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed to cook full meals. Hot tub temp was right and jets worked perfectly for these achy muscles after a good snow shoe up at White Pass. The bonus was watching the wandering herd of Elk pass through and hang out on the property. We would definitely ruturn to this great getaway cabin.
We loved this cabin! It was a perfect layout for our two families and the yard was so fun to let the kids play in!
Our family of 5 rented this cabin with another close family of 4. The accomodations in the house were perfect for our home away from home! The upstairs bedroom had 5 twin beds and the two other bedrooms had king size beds that fit us all comfortably. We enjoyed the seclusion and space yet proximity to town and White Pass were definitely ideal!
Very nice big yard for dog. Nice hot tub!
My husband and I stayed here with our 4 young sons. The boys loved being able to have little adventures in the forest; they saw all kinds of wildlife. The mornings and evenings were so peaceful! The house was very well maintained and stocked. The deck is huge, which was really convenient when trying to contain 4 little ones. The owners responded to my messages very quickly. The loft area is amazing! Giant bonus room with 2 couches, 3 twin beds, a dresser, a walk in closet, a TV, and a large bathroom. The whole place was very clean. Even under the deck. No spiderwebs or built up debris. You can tell the whole property is very well maintained. The living room area gets very hot when the sun is beating down on it, even with the AC going, but it just forced us to spend more time outside. There are DVDs and VHSs stocked everywhere; lots of choices, but we couldn't get the DVD remote to work, so you couldn't rewind or fast forward. Those two things were probably the biggest issues, and they're so minor. It did not impact our stay at all. Overall, I highly recommend staying here. I know we will definitely be back!
As I saw in some previous reviews, pictures do not do it justice. This is a beautiful, quiet, and private property. Town was about 5 minutes away and had anything we thought we might need or forgot. Packwood also has a brewery that was fun to visit. The hot tub was a major highlight, as was the fire pit. Plenty of room for our Shepard to run and relax. We did have the elk come through one evening as well which was very exciting. We let our older parents take each of the two downstairs rooms, and we pushed together a couple of the twins upstairs - although not very comfortable, we loved the big upstairs area with its own bathroom and sitting area with 2 couches, so we really had our own space. Everything was nice, rustic, nostalgic, and importantly clean. We had a minor thing with a door handle and they responded very quickly. Highly recommend, would definitely stay here again!
Great property at a great location. Property manager was east to communicate with and very accommodating.
We (a group of 6 college friends now in our 30s) all had a great time. This cabin was perfect for what we needed (access to Rainier, privacy, a nice quiet space to hang out). The house has a small charcoal grill and a very nice kitchen, which was more than enough to cook for all of us. The town of Packwood is only a 10 minute drive and it has the essentials you'll need for the trip. We all loved this house! There were a lot of bugs outside, but there's not much you can do about that, so as long as you bring your bug spray, you'll be in good shape.
Everything was as described and better. The photos of this property do not do it justice at all. Feels very private. Overall a great experience and fun trip for friends or family.
Everything at the rental was as advertised. Very clean and the property manager is very responsive. 10/10 would stay again.
Cabin was amazing and secluded, easy to locate and offered everything listed on site. Rooms were comfortable and cozy. The fireplace and hot tub were excellent features to have on cold days and nights. The property is large enough to enjoy with multiple people and yard was amazing to explore. Beautiful location and excellent for families wanting to get away to the woods.
Nice place, clean, appropriately equipped, etc.. Some recommendation: replace charcoal grill with a gas grill - hard to keep charcoal going in the rain; the TVs had no connectivity and the DVD player was broken-this should be part of the unit description; description of the route to the property could be improved and the property address numbers more visible from the road. Thanks
