Enjoyed our stay
We had a wonderful time with our family at the elk lodge terrace. It was secluded and private. We loved the amenities, especially the hot tub. It was a very nice and relaxing weekend.
The cabin was beautiful. Over all a great place to visit.
It was fantastic! Loved the property and the house. Had an amazing time
The house is nice, but very expensive. This seems due to the location and not many options in the area. It is located well for elk viewing, hiking and taking in the beautiful, local scenery. We were there with 2 other couples for a total of 6 adults. It says it sleeps 13 people, but with only two bathrooms, that seems to be a stretch. The two bedrooms, plus the large loft areas provided enough privacy for 3 couples, but anyone else sleeping there would have been sharing a sleeping area or been in a common area. The day we departed for our trip we were told that the hot tub was not working. It was one of the reasons that we chose the house and we were disappointed. They have offered us a very small refund for the inconvenience. In summary, a nice place, but expensive due to lack of local supply.
The property was fine. We have stayed here before. The only disappointment was that the hot tub did not work. There was water under the control panel making it inoperable. Otherwise it was good
Absolutely beautiful place,
Great location was able to hear the elk bugle close by… The cleaning fee seems a little high as there were dirty stinky towels in the washer upon arrival and other items found other the bed from other guests…The damage protection room fee is for what?? Can you use that to replace the missing TV remote that apparently has been addressed by other guests per the note left on the TV… the house is to sleep 13 people but there are not enough silverware for 13 people… Overall great location have some areas of improvement within the home..
Great get away cabin, well maintained! Everything as it was advertised!!! Would definitely book again!!
This place is awesome. We will definitely be back. Not one bad thing to say. We all had a great time. Elk during March seem to be harder to find but we had a great relaxing weekend.
Great place to get away from it all! Definitely enjoyed this roomy Cabin!
We booked our cabin a month in advance. they made us paid everything prior to arrival. the day we got there it was a snow storm and the path to acess the cabin was blocked with snow! we got stuck there with our car over 3 hours not able to acess the cabin, after finally got out back to the roadt we contacted the host to asked for help to access the property they said that unfurtenetly there is nothing they can do and they don't provide any cleaning of snow service. we had to go look for a hotel to sleep and paid more money. after requesting our FULL REFUND since we wasn't able to get to the cabin ,EVOLVE sent us an email stating that we will not get our money back because this is the policy !!!!!!!!! DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS SCAMMERS EVER
The property was magnificent. Splendid views and close to elk viewing areas. We even had elk come near the property. Everyone had a great time.
This was our 5th trip out to Benezette and it did not disappoint. The cabin was clean and ready when we arrived. The view was great as the leaves were changing. Beds are comfortable and lots of towels provided. We enjoyed the hot tub one evening. We knew to bring prepared meals with us for most of the days and we had a sandwich at the hotel in town for one evening. Everything you need is provided in the cabin. But bring shampoo and soap. There is a new coffee shop in town where you can also eat lunch. We went to the visitor's center one evening and saw elk as well as elk along the road from town up to the cabin. Bring your binoculars! It was rutting season so you hear lots of buggling and one night I heard a pack of coyotes. We did a few walks around the property and down the road. We also spent some time on the Quehanna highway looking at scenery and Table Falls. We had two days of rainy weather and one day that was sunny so we were able to just sit outside and enjoy the mountain air.
Great communication with any questions we had. No complaints. Well equipped for a large family ( 11) of all ages from 2 years old up to 73
The Elk Terrace Lodge is outstanding!!! Exactly what I was looking for. The indoor and outdoor amenities are excellent. In addition , the location is close to many outdoors activities. Definitely exceeded my expectations. Can’t wait to visit again. Eric M.
