Nice place for a short trip. Stayed 3 nights, last day of my trip the water lines froze and i was unable to shower, wash dishes, flush the toilet or access water for anything, including making coffee. After notifying the host, I received a response approximately 5 hours later. Host did not offer anything to offset the inconvenience of no water. Although this was an off season stay, i still paid a premium which the simple requirement of water could not be provided and a 5 hour delay in response to the concern needs to be addressed.

The cabin was very clean and cozy! We loved the proximity to the lake! It was close to stores and restaurants. We will definitely be booking for next year’s ice fishing trip.

The Cabin was adorable. Perfect place to stay for a quick weekend in Houghton lake for the witches weekend. Centrally located. Easy to find. Super clean! Would recommend and would stay again!

Are stay was good, of course anywhere you stay the beds are not your bed at home, a little on the soft side. The lakefront access, just wished it was more cleaned up and assessable. Other than that, the cabin was very cute , definitely would stay again. Thank you

The cabin was very comfortable and well decorated. It also has a full kitchen which is fully equiped for making a meal. I would highly recommend for a couples getaway. The owners have put alot of thought care into this lovely cabin. Well done Ken and Angelina!

Unfortunately we had bad weather when we came to stay here and there really was not much to do in the area. We cut short our stay. Also Didn't realize we'd have to carry the paddle boat from the garage to the water. Linen supply was little short. Place was small but the hosts were very kind.

Cute little cottage. Could use some updating of firepit, and general sprucing up of outside/grass, weeds, grill, those things didn't interfere with our excellent stay. Inside was perfect size for 2 people.

The cabin was nice. The area very quiet. This cabin had everything you need for a vacation. We were able to have fires and spent a lot of time on the water the paddle boat is a nice addition-kept us busy even in the cold. We will be back

It’s a super cute cabin. Exactly as described. The neighborhood was really quiet. It’s conveniently located to all the major amenities in Houghton Lake. I think the neighbors were a little too close for my taste. Overall great experience. I would highly recommend this location. The hosts were super responsive when we communicated. Wonderful experience!!

We are not happy with our stay. The place was so hot (A/C did not work) that we went to Walmart to purhase fans Friday night, which did not help at all. The A/C was turned on about 2:00, but the house was so warm that my 6 mo old was up all night Friday. We ended up packing and staying somewhere else Saturday night. There were a substantial amount of spiders as well. I messaged the owner this same information Saturday evening and received no response. I don't make these comments lightly but I feel I should get some kind of a refund.

Very quiet, neat little place to stay. A short drive to public beaches, didn’t end up using the kayaks but still had a nice time.

I had a great two nights here. Was in town to visit friends and family and this was perfect for me. The place was clean and just as advertised. Will definitely look to stay here again when back in town!

The property was clean and comfortable. Because I have family in the area, I knew where to go for beach access. Otherwise, this property does not have generous beach access or outdoor amenities. However, I had A communication with the owner... and felt 100% safe!

We needed a stop over point on our way to Northern Michigan from Grand Rapids and chose Houghton Lake as the location. We were fortunate enough to find this little gem right off the water! Very clean and comfortable as advertised! Would do it again!

My wife and youngest son and I stayed here for a baseball tournament my son had in West Branch. The cabin was great, very clean and had everything we needed. Wish we had more time to stay and explore the lake more. We will be back. Communication was top notch, thanks guys.

It had everything we needed and was easy to check in, just my husband and myself stayed, it was very clean and nicely decorated. A few nights were cold and had to use the heater and it kept us plenty warm. We enjoyed our coffee on the front porch every morning and had a beautiful view of the lake. The only thing that would've made it better was the bed, we found it uncomfortable and the 4 inch memory foam topper didn't really help, the sheets slipped off the bed and off the topper so you were sleeping on the plastic covering of the topper, the mattress slid around off the bottem box springs and so the entire night you were fighting the sheets and mattress. Maybe the bed is old and just needs replaced?

You really cant beat the amazing deal here will definitely be back

We spent a long weekend at Houghton visiting relatives. The cabin was perfectly comfortable and clean! We had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again!

4 stars overall given only because 2 adult kayaks were not readily available at time of need. Owners willing to supply but we had time frame. They seemed very helpful & nice

Great cozy little with everything one needs. Clean, cozy, and well stocked. You want for nothing. Just walk in and relax is all you have to do. Looking forward to visiting again.

Very well maintained and clean. Everything is new and comfortable. Just the right size for hubby and me in the main bedroom and child in the pull out couch. Very close to the lake. Owners were responsive and there’s water toys to use too. Family fun activities across the Main Street and close to restaurants. I recommend this place!
