1BR + Loft Lake Chatuge Cabin w/ Mountain Views! (Green Cabin)

Everything was absolutely FABULOUS!!! My son and I stayed in the green cabin (#4), and it was so peaceful...incredibly beautiful accommodations, just as pictured. From the covered back porch overlooking the lake, to the comfy bed and wood-burning fireplace, Tranquille Resort is truly a special place and was everything I hoped it would be! I can't wait to return soon!!!

I've stayed at many places that are not nearly as nice as the pictures. This was the opposite. The pictures do not compare to how great this property is. My son and I stayed for an overnight getaway and my only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. The cabin is so much larger on the inside than the outside. I think they used some type of Harry Potter magic when they built it. I felt we really got to stay in a luxurious townhouse.masked as a cute cabin. The lake and mountain view is spectacular, especially at sunset. The staff is super nice. Really, my only suggestion would be they open the lobby earlier than 8:30. I really wanted to try their coffee and local pastries, but we needed an early start and had to leave before they opened up. If you are considering this place, go ahead and book it. You won't regret it.

This was perfect ending to a great trip. The cabin was cozy but modern. It was like our on private oasis. Wasn’t here for long but it definitely made us want to come back. We had a gorgeous view of the fog rolling in on the lake in the morning. So happy I found this place and can’t wait to come back.

My husband and I thought the cabin was very cozy and comfortable and really enjoyed our stay. Only wished our timeline had worked out a little better so that we had had more time to enjoy some of the outdoor spaces available. We enjoyed chatting with the young lady working at the Cafe - she was a delight. A couple suggestions would be to add some non-slip stickers in the tub and some nightlights to help with navigating trips to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Otherwise, our trip was wonderful.

Absolutely adorable place to stay! This place is a hidden gem! It’s location is great, close to everything in Hiawassee and on the lake. Great attention to fine details from decor to necessities. I will definitely be back!

The unit we stayed in (#4) was next door to an old mobile home. The view out the back door toward the lake included a fence that had No Trespassing signs attached to it. Apparently the owner of the unit shoehorned the construction into a space with a “view” but no direct access to the water. I told my kids this must have been like living in East Berlin. You could see the good stuff, but you couldn’t get to it. They did have a very nice dock for communal use further down the shoreline. We were expecting to be able to get some work done on this trip, but the internet connection was spotty at best. The TV is streaming only so don’t plan on Netflix binging in this unit. All that said, it was conveniently located, and if you can crane your neck and squint just right the views are beautiful.

Our stay was amazing! The property is very well maintained and so convenient to everything in the area. The property had outside games for the kids, fire pits, amazing view of the lake and a dock. Travis the property manager was so helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this rental. Our family will definitely be back.
