1847 Log Home with modern comfort. Near Louisville & Bourbon Trail

We were two couples exploring the Bourbon trail between Louisville and Lexington. We enjoyed our stay at this historic hilltop retreat. Furnishings are comfortable. Main floor bathroom is not connected to the bedroom. We did not cook, but kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed sunny evenings on the large porch. Our host lives next door and was very responsive.

What a lovely property! Really enjoyed our week-long stay. The cabin is a perfect blend of historic with modern amenities. It came with everything you need except the food! Tim and Lynn were just lovely and we enjoyed meeting them. The kids enjoyed seeing the horses. The property is spacious and beautiful. We would definitely come back for another stay!

We had the best time in this cozy welcoming cabin for our family to spend Thanksgiving together. Lynn and Tim are great hosts and went above and beyond to take care of our family. Everything was beautiful and very well stocked and equipped -we didn’t need anything! Our grandsons loved the bunk beds and the swings and Lynn even called out their horses so the boys could feed them some carrots! Thanks so much for a perfect stay!

This is such a wonderful place to stay with kids. My kids loved all the swing sets and feeding Milo apples and carrots! The hosts are very helpful/friendly.

Great place to stay and an even better host. Tim was great from start to finish. Making us feel like we were at home the whole time. Highly recommend this place. It is definitely in our rotation of places to stay moving forward.

Throughly enjoyed our stay here. We spent most of our time on their amazing front porch visiting and spending time with family. Great memories!

This cabin is truly unique! Very well appointed with cabin motif throughout. Loved hanging out on the breezy front porch after the day's biking. King bed was very comfortable, which is a deal breaker for us. Easy check in/check out. Owners are delightful. Cabin is situated on a large estate within a neighborhood of 5 acre estates. Amazing outdoor play equipment for young kids as well as owners' horses ready for carrot treats. You will love this place and will appreciate all it offers. Close to Louisville Loop recreation trail access points.

Host was very good with communicating. House and yard were great within a great location.

Communication was impeccable. Check in was so smooth. Location is second to none for the Bourbon Trail and many amenities close to the house. We will definitely book again!!!

The cabin worked perfectly for our family gathering. Our grandson loved the outdoor play places. The kitchen was well supplied and we made a full Thanksgiving feast. Lots of places to play games and visit. The hosts were accommodating and responded promptly to all communications.

Property is exceptional. Well kept and cozy, but with a modern twist. Hosts are amazing!! Very attentive. Easy access to multiple destinations; whether it’s a grocery store, distillery or by the water. Highly recommended not only for adults but for families. Multiple activities on property for children. Everything worked out great for us. The wedding we attended was just down the road and we had plenty of space to hang out and relax between events. The history of this place is great. Thanks!
