My partner and I enjoyed a few nights away in the gorge area here at this lovely cabin! The property had everything we needed to relax with a comfortable bed and a big shower. Grill on site was fantastic and the views off the back deck on a clear night were incredible. Firepit was just a few steps from the front door and fantastic as well. Would recommend any visitors who want to be able to cozy up to any movie to bring a streaming device (Fire stick, roku, etc) as the internet service was very good for being so remote! Only negative was the dry sauna appeared to be going through repair and was not available for us after spending the day hiking.
The Property this cottage is on is so peaceful, beautiful, and very secluded! No one around. The cottage was rustic and comfortable. Clean! The down sides are the outside property really could use some TLC, cleaning and straightening up from debris on the property and yard. Also some things were not available as advertised. There’s a Sauna but it’s not available for use. The only bikes were two small children’s bikes. There’s a barn made into a game room, but it not accessible either because the field is overgrown and you couldn’t get to it. Or be covered in chiggers, or ticks if you tried, way over waist high. Hopefully they will get to these things or change their advertising. If your just looking for peace, quiet, and a beautiful scenery. then this place is for you! Would absolutely stay again!!
Enjoyed the property very much. A bit more remote than expected.
Perfect getaway cabin. Private with a beautiful view. Had everything we needed.
Great property! Very serene and quiet. Well supplied with anything you would need for a family with young children.
This is our 4th trip to the gorge, we thought how neat it would be to take the unbeaten path so what better way then to book a place with land and cool amenities. The cabin left alot to be desired, it was dusty, half the plates and utensils needed a good cleaning, the main bedroom lacked a bedbug cover on the box springs and had blood spots. Corners of the room had mouse droppings, cigarette butts scattered amongst the front yard. We took it in stride and made the best of it, unfortunately day 2 wasn't much better, the property trails had random garbage scattered around and smelled of gas, we planned on hiking, coming back and trying the sauna, surprise! The sauna didn't work either as rats had chewed the wires in half. This place left alot to be desired which is a shame because it had great potential. Also 4x4 highly recommended as parts of the drive have deep wash out spots, not a big deal and in the description.
Quiet and peaceful with a lovely view. Groceries are close by and loads of trails within a 30 minute drive. 4 x 4 definitely recommended although we managed without due to the time of year.
Quite area with a cute, cozy cabin, not much to do but for a couple days enjoyed it. Did the underground Kayak your, pizza, turtle pottery ice cream. Enjoyed our time!
My family (husband, son, DIL, and daughter 25-28yr old) enjoyed the remote setting to relax and unwind from our busy week. We took our cornhole boards,as well another outdoor games, crockpot and enjoyed the weekend!
We loved the little yellow cabin in the woods. We spent most of our time outside, by the fire and the tire swing. All the amenities, like coffee, soaps, lots of clean towels and blankets. I would definitely recommend for a family, lots of places for the kids to sleep and the master bed was very comfortable. Walking around the property was great we hiked several trails.
Very much enjoyed my stay and plan to return!
