10 acre private ranch in the Coconino forest

My fourth (?) stay in this lovely cabin was every bit as wonderful as all past stays. Sooooo quiet for this city dweller, and the cabin is not just a rental, it is a home. All the comforts are there, down to the last detail. It feels so remote, yet not far from Flagstaff’s conveniences. A great place to unplug and relax. Bring your dogs! The yard is fenced and safe, and you can take long walks along the dirt roads. If I was to dream up a forest cabin for myself, this would be it.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was perfect, cozy, and surrounded by beautiful scenery.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay in the cabin. The cleanliness sets this cabin apart from others. There were plenty of towels and bathroom products provided. The kitchen will not disappoint!!! Our host, Patrick is very responsive and cares that the stay meets every need. We brought our two dogs along. Pet items such as eating bowels, towels and a leash was handy. I loved the fireplace at night bc this Gilbert. Az girl is use to hot weather. It was a vacation that we will not forget.

House and property were beautiful. It was very relaxing to unplug and enjoy the trees, elk and deer sightings, and hikes literally right out the back door. Bonus was it started snowing while we were there:).

We had an amazing time at this cabin. It is cozy, pet friendly, filled with amenities and so much outdoor space! I love the living room area with the floor to ceiling windows and open floor plan. We can't wait to come back

This was our second time staying at this property, and we absolutely adore it. Patrick is an exceptionally responsive host who communicates clearly and provides very helpful, thoughtful instructions.The property itself is beautiful and incredibly welcoming. The house is lovely and well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay - from the outdoor fire pit and indoor fireplace to the grill and the bright, spacious bedrooms. One of the highlights is how perfect the property is for dogs: there’s a securely fenced area, along with 10 acres to explore and enjoy the surrounding Coconino National Forest.The bathrooms appear newly remodeled and are beautiful, and the beds are extremely comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Not a doubt this is the best house we’ve ever booked on our travels. Stunning property, very secluded yet close enough to amenities if needed. Very well appointed, nothing you need to bring. We always travel with our dogs and this cabin has everything needed for them, especially a fenced gorgeous yard. Just get a cup of coffee in the morning and sit out on the porch and listen to the elk surrounding you.

This was one of the best cabin rental experiences my family and I had! The instructions were very clear from the owner, and the property was clean and secluded as well! Everything about this peaceful cabin was exactly as described. The house was clean and stocked with all you need for meal prep. Loved the decor and truly felt like a home away from home.The 10 acres is secured in the Nat’l Forest yet close to Flagstaff and numerous grocery stores. We enjoyed the peaceful and totally quiet of the back porch each morning and evening.We took several day trips to the Grand Canyon (1.5 hours) and other nearby Nat’l monuments.Thank You to the Maloney’s for sharing your piece of heaven with us!RR

Booked this home planning to get some snow time. Unfortunately Mother Nature had other plans. No snow That was our only disappointment for the week we stayed here. The home has absolutely everything. Very clean. Beds were comfortable. Great fenced yard. Our dogs loved it. It was so peaceful but still close enough to town to get supplies easily. Lots of hikes in the area. Highly recommend booking this home. Host very quick to respond but we had no issues during our stay. Provided great instructions for everything.

A very well kept very stocked and nice home. It was very enjoyable with lots for us to do and the house had everything anyone could need. Firewood was supplied which was a life saver in the cold. Feels like you are all by yourself on the private 10 acres but only 20 min from downtown flagstaff which we used to go snow tubing and get some food and brews.Would recommend this place to anyone wanting to enjoy their stay. My husband, myself, parents in law, and our senior doggo stayed here for 4 days, 3 nights. It was an excellent getaway from the valley. There wasn't snow like we were hoping, but it was still just a nice time. My husband and I took our boy hiking, he had a blast weaving in and out of the trees and playing in the pine needles. Outdoor area was very nice, great to share a bottle of wine around the fire pit. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. This property is well off the beaten path, so great if you are looking for a very quiet staycation where you will not be bothered. We will keep this property in mind for future visits and definitely recommend.

We loved staying at the ranch. The inside was spacious and cozy. The great room was very large, all of us could be together to cook, eat, and watch football. October weather granted us lots of time on the patio with a fire in the pit and meals off the grill. There was wildlife all around with mule deer in the fields and native birds fluttering in the pines. The perfect get away from our busy city lives. We will keep this on our list of places to come back to.

My husband and I stayed here to get away from work and stress in a quiet setting. The house and location do not disappoint. The property is beautiful, we saw deer and coyote and tons of birds. Back yard was great for the dog to run within the fence. We did a few day excursions into Sedona, saw a few lakes, hiked the Priest Draw trail, explored endless forest roads, saw some cowboys moving cattle through the forest on two separate occasions. Primary king bed is super comfy, kitchen is well stocked, everything worked as expected. Wifi was good for a few Zoom calls that I had to make. Yes I would stay here again if Patrick would have us.

We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway, particularly for families with young kids. Our group was a family of 4 (with 2 kids under 2) plus one set of grandparents. Immediately upon entering the open and spacious living area we felt welcomed, it just felt cozy and comfortable. The backyard is fenced in for dogs but really helped us entertain our toddler who always wants to be “outside”. Whether on purpose or not, the rest of the house was mostly toddler proof as well. The bathrooms were very nice and clean. The host was very communicative and kind (let us check in an hour early when we asked, we arrived an hour earlier than expected due to the time change). We’d love to stay again should we be in the area in the future.

2nd time staying here with family. We took a couple different family members this time and they loved the cabin and property too. Everyone was planning a trip again next year. Weather was perfect and the deer and other wildlife was amazing. Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy your home.
