Located only 10 miles from Boone and 13 miles to West Jefferson, 1 Relaxing Place is ideal for year round vacations to the High Country! Bring your loved ones to this charming 3-bedroom cabin and get ready to make unforgettable memories!

The main floor features an open kitchen and living room allowing enough space for friends and family to spread out while cooking together or watching TV. The living room also features a wood-burning fireplace which is the perfect way to bring home therustic cabin feel! There is nothing better than listening to the popping and cracking sound of wood burning while enjoying your favorite movie and beverage. The master bedroom is on the main floor and offers a king size bed, TV and full ensuite bathroom. The upper deck can be accessed via the living room and has a dining table and several chairs. Perfect place for dinner outdoors! Downstairs there are two more bedrooms, each with full size beds and their own bathrooms. Also downstairs is a set of sliding glass doors that will lead you out to the lower patio area and hot tub. Out here you can relax while admiring the beautiful long-range mountain view and enjoy the sounds of local wildlife and a rushing creek down the mountain. The fire pit area is complete with plenty of seating around. Roasting marshmallows and telling campfire stories with kids or friends is the perfect way to end a fun day exploring! The private setting of 1 Relaxing Place is truly special and will have you eager to come back year after year to enjoy all that the mountains has to offer.

Additional notes:
• All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a starter set of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
• Please note that the distances shown on VRBO's map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations.
• Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
• This home allows up to 4 mature, well-trained dogs with an additional pet rent of $25 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.
• Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
• Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
• No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
• Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
• No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
• 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
• Owner has a camera facing the driveway for security purposes. This is not pointed towards any common areas or inside the home.

CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
