Friendly host, great place!

Beautiful stay with Ken & Becky in their home. Private room and bath, lovely views into the mountains, and a pool as well. Would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay with Ken and Becky! They were such kind and gracious hosts. The room was quite comfortable and clean, and we especially enjoyed sitting out on the back deck that looks out onto the mountains.

I can’t say enough positive about this stay. The hosts were extremely friendly and hospitable. The space was very clean and comfortable. It had to be one of the most comfortable getaways we’ve ever had. We also enjoyed the pool that they offered, which was peaceful with beautiful setting all around. I would definitely recommend staying here again. I hope to be back!

for starters this couple is a super duper host ant i enjoyed talking with. the place really felt like home . with a quiet atmosphere and views that go on postcards this place was worth it. the craftsmanship of the place was definitely someone taking their time while doing it correct but also beautiful at the same time . thanks

The drive up to the house was absolutely beautiful. We went in the summer and the winding roads were such a joy to my friends and I. At one point we saw a bear on the road! When we arrived the view from the property was unbelievable. Becky was extremely generous and provided us with a comfortable place to stay along with snacks, access to her pool, and all the amenities we would want! I would definitely stay here again.

Great hosts! Hospitality and conversation

Becky met us from the front porch when we drove up. The directions to the house were clear and easy to follow. The home was beautiful and not like any other place we had ever stayed. It was truly a Whimsical Mountain Retreat. But the best part of our stay was the amazing hospitality of our hosts. We were made to feel so very welcome. Becky has a servant's heart and made for us the most delicious breakfast. Our room was completely private with our very nice bathroom. The bed was so very comfortable and provided a great night's sleep, especially after a long day of exploring the surrounding area (Chimney Rock and Lake Lure). We would definitely look forward to spending time here again.

Ken/Becky were the fun people you want to meet everywhere USA, great host and real life neighbors! AND what a great home setup for in/out type folks or just relax on the deck, by the pool or explore the local mountains. My wife is already telling our family about the VRBO experience as our Smokey mountain retreat. The house is very interesting with many structural ideas and rustic feel, such a warm comfortable stay.

Becky and Ken went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They provided us with everything we needed and more to have a comfortable stay, and overall they were incredibly friendly and wonderful hosts.

Beautiful house with a gorgeous view from the balcony. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. This was the first time we stayed at a property where the hosts also lived--it was wonderful. We enjoyed hanging out with them. Just 15 minutes from downtown Asheville, yet it feels like you are in your own slice of paradise.
