Stayed Jan 31, 2026I had a great stay at Ginger Room. The room was clean, with storage and some hangning space. Having access to a mini fridge was verry useful. There is a nice view of the ocean from the terrace, great sunset colours! I saw a variety of birds and animals. I echo the comments on the need for a 4X4 vehicle to reach the property. Lori was very attentive and responsive to any needs or questions, accommodating and just overall considerate.

Stayed Mar 26, 2024Clean modern room, best shower in Costa Rica at this pricepoint. Fast wifi with excellent coverage. No AC, but room is designed for that with large screens just below the ceiling and a big overhead fan. We stayed for two nights when day time temps were in the upper 80s on the beach, and we were very comfortable at altitude with the breezes from the ocean. The host, Lori, is a gem. The property is gorgeous and meticulously well kept. You will get full use of your rental car's 4x4 on the road to and around this rental. We really enjoyed the drive, but I wouldn't recommend it in 2 wheel drive. Can't wait to return!
