I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this property. I truly felt like I was staying at someone’s home. It is a sweet little nest in a great neighborhood and I will be back! (The only bummer was that there was no hair dryer. )
Loved it!!!This location is in easy walking distance to Wrigley Field, but far enough away in a nice quite neighborhood. Restaurants and bars right out your door as well as close to the Southport area for shopping and more restaurants. Easy walk to Paulina Station if you want to go downtown. We ate at both Kitsch'n and Volo. Kitsch'n is a great breakfast & lunch restaurant and then romantic dinner at Volo on the back patio. 5 Stars for each experience. Jon's right about big bags and the spiral staircase. A bit of a challenge, but we were warned. Loved this place and will try to stay every time we come to Wrigleyville area. Thank you Jon.
This was my first HomeAway experience and it was everything I had hoped for. My parents and I had plenty of room. The apartment was clean and comfortable with a nice shower and private deck (though it was cold and rainy when we were there so we didn't use it as much as we'd have liked). Roscoe Village is delightful. Free parking close by and the walk to the 'L' train isn't far. We felt safe the whole time and enjoyed having nice restaurants within walking distance. 'Kitsch'n On Roscoe' is a great way to start the day. And 'John's Place' down the street was very good. It was a great experience and if I make it back to Chicago I'd love to stay there again. Thanks!
We loved the place and the location . The owner was very helpful with our questions. I would definitely recommend this place .
We had a great stay .. short trip - the neighborhood and loft were both perfect.
Great little place. Lots to do and centralized!
My husband and I had a wonderful three night stay!! The neighborhood is so welcoming and had everything we needed within a few minutes from the apartment. Jon, the owner, was easily accessible and had wonderful recommendations when we needed. A less than 10 minute walk to the train and we were in the city in no time. We definitely hope to visit this spot again!!
This property was perfect for me and three teens heading to Lallapalooza. The layout of apt worked, especially liked spending time on the deck to start and end the day. Everything was convenient—shops, restaurants, bars. I liked the neighborhood so much I never made it downtown (though the nearby CTA brown line stop makes that easy). Do eat at Kitchn’s across the street. Bonus: Chicago Music Exchange is only 3 blocks away—if you are a guitar enthusiast plan to spend 3 or 4 hours there to play vintage and high-end instruments.
Jon's property is in a great location for walking to a Cubs game, shopping, and great food. The description is accurate! Jon was great about communication. Lovely place!
Very clean; pictures and reviews are very accurate. Place has a lot of character. I didn't love lugging the luggage up the steps and particularly the spiral staircase but once we were there it was great. Being over a restaurant/bar was a little noisy late at night but it really didn't disturb us. Highly recommend this place.
