Our stay was wonderful. Anton and his staff provided excellent service and the facility is just as advertised; excellent. Our family dinner with wine pairings was great, Anton worked with us in developing a menu that was perfect for our family. Location is perfect, short walk into downtown and easy access from the interstate.
It was fantastic. All the rooms in the house were very well done and each bedroom was well furnished and equipped to the level of five star hotels. We had four children from 1 - 6 and every BR was filled. Anton was a great host and very patient with the kids. His breakfasts were great. The only small gotcha was that we booked under VRBO so needed to adjust to fact it is a B&B so we were restricted as far as full access to kitchen and food prep. There were fridges in each BR. This turned out to be a non-issue.
Outstanding accommodations and service
The house is stunning and great location. Our group of 7 couples had an awesome time.
Had my moms 86th birthday perfect house great breakfast and location for our castle dinner and day at the races. Would go back in a heart beat
We had a wonderful experience at The Lyndon House. Anton was friendly and helpful. A good time was had by all.
Celebrating UKY graduation for the baby of the family. Needed a space for 10 and picked the perfect place. Anton is a knowledgeable and accommodating host. We did most of our meals on site, brought in meals or cooked/grilled on site. Straight shot down Broadway to Rupp, walking distance to campus town bars, farmers market, great coffee. Plenty of room and privacy for everyone, but whoever is paying should grab the Bluegrass Suite! Even an elevator for elderly family members. Highly recommend it for a hassle free graduation!
I can't say enough about how great this place is to stay. Charming, spacious, luxurious accommodations. All 7 bedrooms have a private bath and some have extra sitting rooms. Anton was great at meeting us and cooking a great breakfast.
The Lyndon House was a great and comfortable experience, Anton was a super host and provided everything we needed for our stay, I look forward to visiting again in warmer weather to experience the community and what it has to offer.
Our group booked the whole house. We had seven ladies, all in our 50's. We stayed from Thursday to Sunday. The house was very nice - lots of big rooms. We really liked the big gathering space on the first floor. It was comfortable for the 7 of us. We kept our wine and snacks in there, very convenient! Also loved the ice machine right there. We each had our own bedroom. Two of the rooms had their bathroom down the hall, but that was fine. Might have been a little weird if we had been sharing the house with strangers. The two front bedrooms on the second floor and the room on the third floor, the ladies said it was very noisy, even with the special sound absorbing shades. Must be near a hospital because we heard sirens all the time, day and night. The rest of the rooms did not face the front and were quiet. The breakfasts were fine, but we did not expect to be served Frittata every single day (we were there for 3 breakfasts). All of the other B&B stays we have had usually mix it up (breakfast casserole one day, waffles the next, pancakes the next, etc). Anton did mention on the first day that we could have French toast if we didn't like Frittata, but we all wanted to try the Frittata. I think changing up the menu daily would be a nice change. The side items of coffee cake, cereal, biscuits, fruit, etc were nice, but having something homemade would have been even better. Most of the beds were comfortable and the sheets were nice. Lots of towels available, and nice touches in the room, like restaurant guides. Each room had a fridge with complimentary water, so that was very accommodating. Some of the gals remarked about the carpeting looking a bit grungy (stains), but the overall cleanliness was good. The location was good and close to everything (horse farm tours, distillery tours, restaurants, etc).
