Conveniently walkable to Alamodome. Well communicated entry and exit instructions.
Lovely place for visiting San Antonio and very convenient for exploring the city. We can walk 10-20 minutes and get to the riverwalk area, although I'm sure it's much hotter in the summer (we were here around January). The place is extremely clean, possibly one of the cleanest stays we're been in. Some minor detail that can be improved is perhaps oiling the main entrance door since it's a bit squeaky. They also provide earplugs which are very nice since the neighbors' dogs sometimes bark and you can hear nearby trains at night. Overall, great stay, I would definitely stay hear again if visiting San Antonio in the future.
This was the perfect spot to rest our bones after an amazing Elton John concert at the Alamodome. There’s private parking and you can walk to the dome. Nothing felt better than not having to get into traffic. The place was very clean and stocked with coffee and snacks. There’s a beautifully remodeled bathroom with a bathtub and shower. My only complaint was train noise and a tricky lock. But, I would totally stay here again.
This is such a great place to stay! The bathroom was seriously a dream. Everything was impeccably clean and well appointed. You can’t beat the location. This is not a touristy area, it’s real San Antonio but a hop and a skip from all the attractions.
It was great would definitely stay here again!
Neighborhood close to everything downtown.
We get to our location and the neighborhood was not the best part of town. It said it was walking distance from the Alamo, but I would not have felt safe walking. The AC was not good quality. It was more like a sauna, even turned down as cold as it would get. There was no shower curtain, so no shower could be taken unless we wanted to flood the bathroom. The bed was as hard as pavement. A terrible attempt at sleep. And the snacks wer out of date. We booked two nights and left the morning after our first night.
This the second time we've stayed at this location (didn't leave review 1st time around because I honestly forgot). Just like our first stay, place was super clean, spacious, easy to access, short distance to Alamodome, Riverwalk, etc. This time around, I carelessly forgot one of my airpods. The property owner reach out as soon as they found it. However by the time she reached out we were on our way to next destination. Long story short, communicating with owner back and forth, she was able to ship my airpod!! I would definitely recommend and stay at this property again in the furfure!! I truly appreciate the owner/staff going above and beyond!
Pros -stylish design -snacks provided -comfortable bed Cons - when we arrived the a/c was turned off and it was sweltering in there. We turned the air on and left for several hours. When we came back it was still unbearably hot. I messaged the property contact. After an hour of no reply, we went and bought giant fans. Even with the fans, we were up all night sweating. It did not cool down to a tolerable temperature until 12 hours after we arrived. In the morning, I finally got a reply from the property manager and was shocked at her reply. “You must have froze the unit. We’ll have to move you to another room so the technician can come look at it. If it is broken you will be responsible for replacing it.” The air unit was not frozen. It was just too small to cool down a room allowed to heat up to almost 100 degees. I explained this in my reply message and told her we actually own an HVAC company and know when a unit is frozen. Her only reply was, “good for you owning your own company.” I was so shocked at how defensive she was. She could have offered us more fans or apologized or something but instead threatened us with replacing the a/c unit. We were so put off by her rudeness that we packed up and left that morning to go stay in a hotel. Our travel insurance is reimbursing us for the days we did not stay there. - the tub is great for taking a soak but is difficult to get in and out of. If you have any mobility issues, you will not be able to use the tub/shower. There are no handles or anything to grab onto. The rug is slippery and the tub is surrounded by big rocks you cannot step on. - the tv is in the “kitchen” area and cannot be seen from the bed. If you want to watch tv, you have to sit in the hard plastic chairs. - There were stains on the sheets and the blinds in the bathroom were either dirty or burnt. - There were no cushions on the patio furniture so you couldn’t use it unless you sat on the hard woven plastic. - The kitchen only has a fridge. If you want a microwave or hot plate you have to request it in advance apparently. I only you know it is available by request because I read the other reviews and it came up. If the managers didn’t turn the air off when the unit was unoccupied, installed some railing for the tub, and didn’t get so defensive and rude at any issue, this could be a nice place.
I liked the boutique i was only there for one night so it was very quiet at night check in was at 2 so i was out and about til the evening, the tub was nice to soak in. All the check in procedures were easy I’ll definitely come back!
We loved this place to stay on our single night stay in San Antonio. We wish we could've stayed longer to check out the city, but we're on a bug road trip across the country. The room was well stocked for anything we could need. Off street parking is a huge plus. The bathroom was amazing. The hosts communicated quickly. The location is great. Minutes drive away from the At&t Arena if you want to see the Spurs play like we did. And it was walking distance from the Alamo. We didn't realize we came during Fiesta. There are a lot of road closures. So being walking distance was perfect. If we ever find ourselves in San Antonio again, we will definitely stay here again.
We stayed here for our anniversary and loved the central location for ease of access to all places we wanted to go. The suite itself could use some adjustments. You cannot watch the TV from the bed and there were only two very hard kitchen like chairs to sit and watch TV. There is no microwave, however the fridge is nice. The bathroom was nice and we enjoyed the soaking tub, however the floor mats NEED to be non slip because I almost fell getting out of the tub. The suite felt safe and we were comfortable leaving all of our stuff there during our stay. The bed is VERY firm which we liked, but it may not be for everyone. There is not a great shower situation without getting the whole bathroom wet (rainfall into tub or shower wand). It would be nice to have hangers provided and more than 4 towels as there were not enough for daily showers. Overall we give it 3-4 stars because it was a good stay, but there are just things that were weird about it.
The hosts were AMAZING and very responsive in their communication! We loved the property. Ubers are easy to get to downtown and everything was great!
Was a cute cozy spot!
