I booked a large room with a jacuzzi tub. When I arrived no one was around. We rang the bell and still waited. Finally we met the woman checking in, she had no record of my reservation so she put me in a small room barely big enough for 1 person. I was never given access to the wifi, the TV would not work. The ceiling was covered in peeling wallpaper, sagging water damaged and covered in mold all around the a/c vent. There was what looked to be a rats nest on the wall by the TV. The towels smelled like cigarettes and fabric softener even though the inn is non smoking. The back stairs are a safety hazard. They're rickety with nails sticking up everywhere. This was supposed to be an anniversary getaway for us and it was miserable and I feel like I wasted money. They need to close down and redo things so that it's actually safe for guests. I also had to take allergy meds because of how dusty everything was. I understand it is an old building but they should get their scheduling under control and make the house actually safe.

They double booked our room that I reserved back in April, for a June stay. Then the owner Stacy, never apologized. We were left in the City with No room on a busy weekend where college softball teams had converged to play. Ended up paying an additional $280 for a different hotel. Still no refund…..

The stay was fine. We wanted a local place with a tub downtown. (We are temporarily in an Apartment) location was great. Place was as advertised. Communication was awkward at best. Tub was perfect. Location was great.
