Paduka is a very sweet town on the Ohio river. Lovely arts district and when we were there there was a festival. Good food good people. Shelly the owner was an amazing host. I would highly recommend this property
Outstanding
We loved the decor and cleanliness. We were disappointed with the communication with the staff and the lack of information about the area ( no brochures or maps).
Easy process, owner was very easy to communicate with. Room was very large and comfortable! Will recommend!
My husband and I stayed here for the barbecue festival. It was super close and convenient. The room is large, clean, and quiet. You can occasionally hear the elevator hum. I was just glad they had one as I had broken my ankle a week earlier. All in all, a great stay.
This property is a beautiful bed and breakfast located within walking distance to downtown. The king suite is very spacious, comfortable and clean. This was our first time staying in a bed and breakfast and, were disappointed when we were given vouchers instead of getting to experience the in-house breakfast. However, we realize things come up and, the food and service at the Gold Rush Cafe more than made up for it! As well as the vouchers, the owner provided fruit and granola bars in the kitchen. There is also a Keurig and mini-refrigerator in the room.
This newly redecorated historic home was just perfect for our stay. Shelley is a delightful hostess. Easy and safe access to our room was a plus.
Our 2-night stay was very restful- “Respite” says it all! We were sad not to enjoy the owner’s breakfast to start our days, but the vouchers were a good attempt to make up for that- local eateries are fantastic in Paducah!
THIS PROPERTY WAS WELL RUN AND VERY CLEAN OWNERS WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND VERY NICE JUST LIKE BEING AT HOME WE WERE WELL TAKEN CARE OF VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Plenty to do within walking distance and a delightful place.
From start to finish, this was the kind of romantic weekend that dreams are made of. We arrived late Friday and coded into the building and our room without any problems. Our room was much larger than we expected and all of the linens were SOOOOO luxurious. Breakfast Saturday morning was the BEST quiche I have ever had. There were plenty of other delicious options as well. The hosts were great at communicating and made wonderful recommendations for us. We enjoyed cinnamon rolls at Confleur and an IDEAL dinner at Cynthia's. Then attended the symphony orchestra. The next morning we had an incredible breakfast hash (with lots of other options). The weekend was truly EVERYTHING we hoped (dreamed) for.
