This property was a beautiful escape for us. The land is gorgeous (especially in the Fall). The hosts (Lonnie & Syresa) were welcoming and kind. The house has been well-taken care of despite its age. It is just a short drive away from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, & the Smoky Mountains. As my wife says, It's almost like this house was taken directly out of a Hallmark movie. She already wants to go back to experience Christmas in the Smokies sometime soon. We have nothing but wonderful things to say!

When I first viewed this house it reminded me of the house from the film ‘The Notebook’ because of how beautiful it is. Syresa is an amazing host and easy to communicate with. The animals there are so sweet and loving. I would stay here again 100% And it is close to everything, 10-15 from Pigeon Forge, and 20-25 from downtown Gatlinburg! A perfect getaway

We enjoyed our stay and loved learning the history of the property. We had a delicious breakfast cooked right next to us while having lovely conversation with our hosts. We had a beautiful room and the location was only 10-15 minutes from Pigeon Forge attractions. Beautiful property and wonderful hospitality!

The colder than normal temperatures did not permit us to enjoy the property as we would have liked and the room we stayed in lacked adequate heat. THe road to get to and from Pigeon Forge could be a bit frightening especially at night. The hosts are very sweet and down-to-earth and provided helpful hints/ recommendations to enhance our stay.

We only stayed one day but we really enjoyed our experience. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return. Not too happy with VRBO though. They charged us an extra $25 with no explanation.
