Awesome. Very clean with a few extra, unexpected perks.
Hidden gem. My wife and I loved this location and the serenity the quiet lake offered. Hosts were gracious and helpful. Would recommend this to anyone looking to get away.
Was a good spot with hiking and access to bike trails in NW Michigan within a 30 -45 min drive.
Enjoyed a week MI - good location to see Sleeping near dunes, traverse city, various lakes and breweries. Place was comfortable, took the canoe out for a spin, enjoyed the hottub and had breakfast on the porch. It was in the low 80’s the week were at the property. Primary bedroom got a little warm even with the ceiling fan.
The combination of the beautiful setting, included amenities and helpfulness of the hosts made this one of the most pleasant and comfortable travel experiences I've ever had. Thanks Dave and Melanie and we'll be glad to stay with you again and will definitely recommend your space to others!
The property was clean, but had a smell when we arrived. We opened windows and burned candles. The information presented on the online listing was not accurate. Presented as if we would be secluded but we shared the area with others. Also, the owner texted me afterward because dishes weren't done and there was not even a dish towel, dish rack, cleaning supplies for my use. In addition, there was a cleaning fee charged with booking so I would assume cleaning would be taken care of, similar to an extended stay hotel. Listing also stated we'd receive breakfast gift cards since bed and breakfast was not available but no cards were there. Overall stay was just ok.
We stayed for a short weekend and it was very nice. Very clean, the host was awesome and it was overall a very nice stay!
Quiet area close to Traverse City. Would recommend!
Was an enjoyable stay. Quiet and peaceful yet close enough to the city.
Nice place overall. Very nice people.
Very relaxing for us, dedicated movie room is nice, owner communicate very well and very helpful
My husband and I wanted a quiet get-away for our 32nd wedding anniversary. This was the perfect place. It has a home theater so we could watch TV and movies together. We took a long walk on the trails near the lake. It was beautiful outside. The host was helpful in providing a map for us. There were restaurants nearby. I highly recommend this for a couple!
Very peaceful and clean property to stay at. Owners made the check-in process easy and convenient. Would definitely stay here again.
My spouse and I enjoyed our weekend getaway. The host was courteous and the cabin was clean. It's secluded and on a beautiful property.
Booked about a month out, owners proactively communicated very well. We received a text when the unit was ready on the day of arrival and were greeted by one of the owners upon arrival. The amenities were as advertised and the setting was very peaceful. The owner communicated to ensure we didn’t need anything through the week but was pretty much hands off otherwise. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway that is close to everything, Sleeping Bear, TC, wineries, etc.
Our hosts were extremely accommodating. Answered texts within a minute. Beautiful lake with access to complimentary rowboat, canoe and kayak usage, which we took full advantage. Gorgeous swans on the lake greeted us daily. Wonderful place to stay.
We stayed with Melanie and Dave when in Interlochen for a concert recently; the Pines Nature Suite was perfect for the two of us. Kitchen is nicely appointed with everything you'll need; bed was comfortable; the theater room was fun for a movie after a day of exploring the area; the deck with its grill feels like you're in a tree house! It was nice to start the day with coffee outside, and end it with a cocktail enjoying the breeze and the sunset. Dave was kind enough to lend us his fishing poles, and we took the row boat out to explore the lake - and then sat on the dock and tossed in lines for small bluegills. This property is in a perfect location for easily accessing the beauty of Grand Traverse, and the hosts do an outstanding job. We'll be back!!
Excellent and quiet. A lot of space.
The cabin was clean, the property was beautiful. The owner was so kind. Will definitely be returning.
