Stayed Feb 12, 2026The location was great, amenities were limited but not exactly needed since the location was so good.Definitely one or two people. The stairs were very tricky to scale especially in the late nights or early mornings, so a word of caution. The most disappointing part of the stay was the a/c. With the heat and level of humidity , it didn’t make the stay as comfortable as we were hoping for.

Stayed Jan 18, 2026We stayed in the studio loft at Casa Arias. Quite small but manageable because there was a beautiful terrace on the roof with so much space. We used that as our living room! The pool was very refreshing as well and necessary as it is very hot! Air conditioning worked well throughout the entire stay. Would have been nice to have more options for clothes storage but we managed to live out of our suitcases. The building was secure and in beautiful Casco Viejo! No concerns about safety at all. The host was very responsive when we reached out with questions. There was a shared kitchen that was used respectfully, however, there wasn't much there for utensils. No tea kettle either but there was a coffee maker. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and the surrounding sites and restaurants. We definitely recommend Casa Arias if you are travelling to Panama City! We would stay again!

Stayed Jan 11, 2026A very nice place to stay! I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking to stay in Casco Viejo. A couple notes: the room is exactly as pictured - small. Not a lot of space to put things or open your suitcase, so be ready for that. The shower is very nice. The stairs to the bed are very steep. Fine for teens to adults, but would avoid for younger kids or elderly. No elevator. The pool is nice to look at but in my opinion not somewhere I would necessarily lounge around. We didn’t visit the rooftop so I can’t comment on that. The kitchen is a shared space with some supplies. There’s a refrigerator to keep things if you need to. Baloo cafe is right next door and a nice place to eat if you’re looking for something fairly quick. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again!

Stayed Jan 2, 2025Excellent location in the heart of the historical area. Reasonable rates and the rooftop patio was great!
