As a solo female traveler and the first Trini to visit Ravita Cove, it was definitely a home away from home. I felt very safe and welcomed. I also felt as though I was visiting my family in the country, so my expectations were in line with the environment. Shirley who kept us fed (chef) even created pepper sauce for me after I described and explained what it was to her (we Trini's need our pepper sauce). Her interpretation was delicious and flavorful (Fiji style). She even made and packed me some to take to my next home stay since they probably wouldn’t have any. The ladies taught me a new board and card game that was fun to play after dinner. Overall, for a first time Fiji experience it was great. Everyone was spectacular. Vinaka.
