Stayed Jul 2, 2024Very cozy for a family of 4. The pond was very cute and the breakfast made for easy mornings. Not sure why it says there is a pool, because there isn’t one.

Stayed May 18, 2022The koi pond was absolutely fantastic, you can sit on the porch with your coffee, read a book about the history of Harpers Ferry, and watch the green frog and goldfish swim around. The carriage doors open so you can enjoy the stunning view of the mountains, sunrise, and church steeple. I enjoyed watching the neighbors fat dog prance around the yard and theres a man down the street that feeds peanuts to the squirrels. Trust me, you will not want to leave. Everything is walkable from this location (thankfully because the town has almost zero parking spots). Bring a bottle of water with you and enjoy the day of trekking around and enjoying all the sites.

Stayed Aug 25, 2019This place is unique and rustic without ever being uncomfortable. The upstairs room we stayed in feels like 3-4 rooms with a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living area plus the loft. We enjoyed the antique furnishing and fun original building details as well as the very comfortable bed and the jacuzzi tub (!). Additionally, the staff were extremely accommodating and personally helpful to us. Breakfast was hand-delivered every morning and we received some great recommendations for vineyards. This is also a wonderful spot if you're in town for the hiking because it's walkable to all the nearby trail heads-- we really didn't need to use our car the whole time we were in Harpers Ferry.

Stayed Sep 18, 2025The Carriage House was clean and comfortable. It was also very conveniently located. We really liked that we could walk to pretty much everywhere including the Appalachian Trail Conservancy and the Appalachian trail. Harpers Ferry was a great place to hang out for a couple of days.

Stayed Aug 14, 2025This quaint property is walking distance to the historical area of Harper's Ferry, but it would be a tough hike back up the hill after your sightseeing. However, there is a parking area at the National Park area with a bus that brings you to the Lower Town. Also, there is some parking at the train station.Owner is very responsive! Not sure how the place can sleep 5, unless you count children. And it lists a pool, but that is not accurate. It is great that the owner provides a made-to-order breakfast!! But don't plan to cook many other meals, as the kitchen is supplied with minimum pots, pans, baking dishes. Probably needs new wallpaper and carpeting, too.

Stayed May 17, 2025Rustic and peaceful right in the heart of Harper's Ferry. Very cute pond and yard. Easy to find the place and then park for my stay. Nancy was easy to contact and helpful. Can easily go downhill to the sites or wander around town to playgrounds or cafes or restaurants.

Stayed Sep 2, 2024We enjoyed our time at Lily Pond The first evening the fish crows gave a us quite an impressive chorus! The distance into town was easily walkable and the return trip was even doable after hiking up to Maryland Heights. Everything we needed was available except dishwasher detergent and dish towels. The neighbors and town folks were very friendly. We would definitely rebook this sweet spot again.
