It would have been nice to know that breakfast was muffins and juice. Typically breakfast means more than that. Washcloths would have been nice to have.

Fell in love with Bayfield. Picture perfect little village on Lake Superior. Pilots House is walking distance to everything. Jack is a helpful, accommodating host. Wonderful trip in every way

We enjoyed our stay. Our house was easy to find. Our host communicated quickly, and it was a seamless check in. The location was perfect for getting around town and enjoying the sites.

The room was quaint, and had great views.

Great area,the views were amazing. Driveway a little bit of a challenge. But being that most of the properties are on hillsides, you can understand.

An ideal location, walkable and convenient to docks for boat, ferry rides and restaurants. Hosts were like ghosts, serve yourself muffin and juice only breakfasts. Towels were thin and cheap. King mattress has seen better days. Be prepared to walk up many steps to this particular room. Not a typical B&B experience

The property was very nice. Jack, the property manager was very personable and helpful.

It was a beautiful setting. The host was cranky. Breakfast was stale walmart muffins. It was very convenient to the marina, shopping, and dining

The property was a great place to enjoy Bayfield! The lake view out of the crow’s nest was special! Inside was well cared for and clean! It’s not a large room, but has a large bath that helps it feel larger.

Nice place to stay, right by the lake. Unfortunately the Jacuzzi was out of order. Everything else was too notch, will stay at again when we go back to the area.

We had an amazing time at the Pilot House! Having some breakfast options in the morning and coffee and goodies was definitely a plus. We also enjoyed the Crow's Nest with the jacuzzi which was perfect after hiking to the Sea Caves at Meyer Beach. Thanks so much Jack for your hospitality and sending back the clothes I left behind! Had a great time. Nice room with lake view. Stairs steep but we made it. Jacuzzi did not work. Otherwise nice, quiet, clean lodging.

We had a very nice time in Bayfield. We went to the Chataqua concert and took the grand tour of the Apostle Islands. The Crows Nest where we stayed was very nice. It would have been nice if there had been a few less steps to get to it, but it was nice. It had what we needed. It was clean and quiet and had a nice view of the town below.

We loved the location and convenience to downtown Bayfield.

The Pilot House is the perfect place for a few days visiting Bayfield and the Apostle Islands. Perched on a hill on the north side of town, everything in Bayfield is an easy walk, and the view of the harbor and Lake Superior are wonderful. We stayed in the Crows Nest room with amazing views. The bed was large and comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. The common areas include two decks where we spent our mornings and evenings. Muffins, yogurt, and juice were available in the kitchen. It would have been nice to make coffee and tea in the kitchen instead of in the small coffee pot in the room, but as long as you can manage steps with a cup of coffee in your hand, it works fine. Our host was available and helpful, but not intrusive. Overall, a wonderful stay in a nice place.

The property is close to everything you need in Bayfield. As long as you do not have mobility issues, you are able to walk to the downtown area fairly easily. The house is beautiful and clean. We had access to a light breakfast of muffins, yogurt and juice with coffee access in our room.

We spent four nights here and found it very comfortable and enjoyable. Close to everything in downtown Bayfield - we could easily walk to all of the restaurants and shops, as well as the Apostle Islands Cruises and the ferry to Madeline Island. The hosts were very friendly and readily available if anything was needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Very well situated property. Crows Nest had great views. It's a suite to spend the night and get ready in comfort. Most of your time will likely spent out and about and it works well for that. Seems like every place you could want to go in town is within a few minutes walk. Great little town. The weather for our visit was a bit warm to enjoy the decks, but Jack did host a July 4th shindig and we had perfect unobstructed views of the Bayfield fireworks show from the deck, and the La Pointe show across the bay. We could even see two other distant shows. The lake is amazing, and highly recommend the island cruise. Also definitely recommend heading across to Madeleine Island to hike in the state park. Great visit and property location. We would stay again.

Beautiful setting in a beautiful town. The house was immaculate, the room was comfortable. Jack was always available with quick assistance on the property and advice about the town. We had the entire house to ourselves and it was a quiet retreat with a great view.

Jack was a wonderful and gracious host! We were able to walk to town for most things we needed and there were plenty of great places to eat. The view was stunning and the fresh air in the crow’s nest was wonderful to sleep in. Thanks Jack!

A very pleasant, quiet stay in a clean unit with a lake view. Large bed, large modern bathroom . A nice deck, and common living room provided good, quiet reading areas for us early risers

Our recent stay was outstanding! The location was super, it was a one block walk to the main shopping and restaurant area. The views from the condo were exceptional, just amazing!
