Zeus Temple view 2BD Apartment Acropolis - Plaka

Getting inside and finding the right lock box to secure the keys, was like working your way through an escape room. The directions were not clear or forthcoming. Once inside, it was spacious, nice, and very comfortable. The washing machine/dryer was odd, but worked. Everything was clean and welcoming. Communication seemed to be the biggest issue, even after checking out. We inadvertently left an item inside that goes with an expensive hearing device. We were told the hours we could pick it up, and informed them we would be on a cruise for a week and pick it up when we get back. Upon our return, they told us they hadn’t yet received the item from the cleaning crew. We flew home without it and were informed we could send a courier to then pick it up. ?

Very clean, large rooms, comfortable beds, good bathroom. Great location, easy walk from acropolis station, close to Acropolis, Acropolis Museum, Plaka, Panathenaic Stadium

Great location and outlook over Temple of Kronos and Rhea. Gardens plentiful, a lovely introduction to Greece.

We can’t rate this property because they cancelled our booking the day before we were to arrive, via email and VRBO (Stayz) Customer Service was inept.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Apartment was clean and it worked very well for our family of five. Loved that were minutes from the Acropolis and Plaka. Balcony had a nice view of then park/Temple of Zeus

We had a wonderful stay. The location of this property is amazing! We were 4 of us and it was a comfortable stay with having 2 bedrooms, kitchen and a living room.The owner was very helpful with giving us recommendations on things to do in Athens.Overall, I would recommend it.

Great location, great layout, great AC!It was 105 degrees in Athens the week we were there - this apartment and it's AC were amazing. And I loved the shower - much better than other VRBOs we had had this trip.

The apartment is large, clean and great for two couples. The location of the apartment is great to access transportation, tourist attractions & restaurants.Communication with the property management was easy and prompt, self check-in was straightforward with pictures to assist. Has heat pumps in each room, soap, shampoo, kitchen cleaning supplies, laundry provided. No dishwasher. The beds were comfortable, the living room couch hard but large. Only negative: The apartment building is on an extremely busy & loud intersection, didn’t leave windows open due to street noise. Couldn’t enjoy the deck.

What a great location. The flat is perfect for four and has everything you need to make a great Athens get away. It is within view and walking distance of anything that historic Athens has to offer (Temples, Acropolis, Museums, etc). Well furnished, great air conditioning and access to a washer/dryer as well. The wrap around balcony offers a nice view and sense of the area with great food nearby. The lock box is a little unusual as it is on a nearby fence, but once we figured that out everything was great. The host was friendly and accessible when needed without ever being intrusive. high reccommend.

We really liked this apartment. The location really is 5 min walk to the Plaka and the Acropolis. A couple of items to note. The room AC units don’t come on until it is 25c (about 78F). It was a little warm at times but we were able to cool it a bit by opening the windows. Also…it is a bit noisy at night because the apt faces a street that is fairly well trafficked even at night.

Due to flight delays, we arrived on midnight. Unfortunately, the lockbox code had been sent to my spam messages. I looked there but was unable to find it. Unfortunately, when I called the emergency number (twice) at midnight while literally on the sidewalk, there was no answer and the voicemail box was full. I also texted the emergency number without answer. We ended up having to get rooms at the hotel across the street for the first night. On day 3, we were awakened with drilling/construction that was very loud in an adjacent apartment. This went on for hours. The apartment was as advertised and functional, but there were major hiccups.
