Roma, Lazio
The apartment is on the top floor of a Nintheen century building with lift. It consist of a big livingroom with two single beds, a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with shower and a fully equipped kitchen. From the windows of the big livingroom with exposed beams, you can see a beautiful view of the magnificent Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II. The subway station (line A), which brings you into every area of the city, is just beneath the house. Termini central railway station is just 10 minutes by walk. Suggested for people who love art and relax.
The area of Esquilino is the last historical site of Rome inside the Roman walls and this already makes it unique…The apartment is elegantly furnished with antique furniture not usual in rented houses this is why it is suggested for people wich love this kind of situations…its approxematly 75 mq,the structure is really large and the celins are very high. The apartment needs caution and attentions to not ruin its furniture, like if it is your home.
The apartment is in a multietnic area, his particularity is the centrality and the good transports services in every zone of the city but still keeping his Roman carateristic. Other than numerous, museums, monuments and curches (museo nazionale Romano, museo dei fori imperiali e mercati di traiano, terme di Deocleziano, Foro Romano,Domus Aurea, Colosseo, basilica di Santa maria maggiore,Basilica di San Giovanni in laterano,Basilica di santa Prassede,Basilica di Santa Croce) it i also possible to reach by walcking numerous parcks (Giardini di piazza vittorio, parco del colle Oppio e Villa Celimontana).
The picture of the living room shows clearly a T.V. set but there is none in the apartment. When paying 100 Euro a night for a luxurious apartment one expects it to be there. The description talks about the beautiful view from the windows, but the windows can not be approached because the access is blocked by heavy furniture. ( and even if you could get there - I am 6 foot tall and the windows are higher then I am...) To sum it up : Pro A spacious apartment, excellent public transportation and a very nice person, Francesco, who represents the owner. Con No T.V. , no windows to look out through Eldad ( stayed May 2019 )
This apartment, with antiques and art, has the feel of a fine family home. It is quiet, with lots of light, and has a well equipped kitchen. One of the best food markets in the city, Esquilino, is a block away. The location is very convenient -- a few minutes' walk from the Termini train station and just around the corner from a metro stop. The owner is very helpful and responds quickly to email, and has a family member who helps on-site. This is an excellent choice for a stay in Rome.
