Wine Country Harvest Hideaway - Centrally located in Sonoma Valley

Convenient for my needs. Comfortable, though as mentioned in other reviews...the room is part of the main house and sound does travel. The listing mentioned kitchen and there is nothing kitchen except a fridge. Also mentioned in a few reviews was the lack of a coffee maker, due to previous problems with ants. I'm so glad i travel with a small coffee maker. I know there are several options in town, but i like coffee before i head out.

We enjoyed our stay, but were not there for the wine. It was a location close to an event. I missed having coffee/tea available on site.

Glen Ellen is a small town close to Sonoma and Santa Rosa The people are friendly and you can walk to most places.There was a festival the weekend we stayed and the street was blocked, but Dave forewarned us and gave us an alternative parking idea so we could access our car.The hosts live on the property, but we only saw him when we drove up. They had a bottle of wine and glasses (and a corkscrew) to welcome us. Dave is very responsive and answered any questions through the VRBO app quickly. They have several hummingbird feeders hanging in the yard. It was fun to watch them buzzing about the yard.There is a small French pastry shop just down the road that has delicious pastery and coffee. Wine Snob winery has a tasting room for their wines and a brand new tasting room for their sparkling wines just down the hill from the wine tasting room.

Great place to stay if you want to visit some wineries and restaurants in the area.

We loved the peace and quiet of this location, yet it was a short walk to a lovely French bakery and other shops in Glen Ellen. We would stay here again.

The location was great. We were situated within a short walk or drivee from many greaat restaurants. The scenery is beautiful and the neighborhood quiet and safe. Lots of great areas to explore nearby as well. Awesome stay!

Very favorable visit. The remodeled bathroom is nice and the bed is comfortable. Terrific access as you can arrive at any time after the check-in time. Coffee and meals are available just steps away which made it easy to have coffee in the mornings. We are repeat lodgers at this wonderful place in Glen Ellen.

First time staying in Glen Ellen.. great location, walked to shops and best French Cafe I’ve been to in the US… took me 18 minutes to get to Sonoma Square, and I walked the local trails which I really enjoyed!! Dave and Dana were awesome hosts!! Hope to return again soon! Thank you!!

Quiet. Comfortable and convenient.

The hosts were wonderful and very knowledgeable about wine and the area's best spots. The room was clean and roomy with lots of storage and a large, modern bathroom. And the location was tucked away but walkable to beautiful walking trails, great coffee, restaurants and markets.

We enjoyed our stay. Dave and Dana are excellent hosts. The place is quiet and very relaxing. Able to walk to the main street for meals. Loved the Bakery. I would recommend this place.

My wife and I celebrated a wedding and our anniversary in Glen Ellen. Our stay was very pleasant. Both the property and Glen Ellen were beautiful and quaint. I would definitely return.

This is a great location for Glenn Ellen and Sonoma. Within walking distance to some great dinning, the Jack London pub and market.This is not a stand alone property but a room attached to the main residence. I would suggest some shades in the windows as the 5:30 am sunlight is a bit Brite. The room also has a small refrigerator which was handy for beverages and snacks.

Nice porch and outdoor space. Room and bathroom very clean. FABULOUS French Bakery within walking distance and a great tasting room ( Wine Snobs). Cute town

It was a perfect spot for our 3 day stay in Sonoma Valley. Location was ideal as we walked to breakfast each day, to the store and to dinner. It was a short drive to Jack London State Park each morning before we went on daily excursions. The room was just right; clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Thanks so much!

The guest suite in Dave’s home was perfect, everything was clean, tidy and well presented! What really sets the stay apart is Dave himself! We spent our evenings eating dinner and drinking wine with him, a lovely person with great stories. Thank you so much Dave!

This was the perfect place to stay with access to trails, wineries, local eats. Dave was a consummate host and made check in and check out fast and easy. Would stay here again!
