Stayed Jun 12, 2019We stayed here in June of 2019 for 12 days. 2 adults + 5 children. The apartment was clean and as described in the information on HomeAway.com. The apartment faces the other building on the property (5m balcony to balcony?) and is in the shade for most of the day. With no AC the temperature inside still remained comfortable with June outside temperatures. The pool is visible from the balcony. The balcony railing seemed a little low for my liking (also most light switches etc are also placed quite low). Some of the other apartments have added an extension to the railing which would be a nice addition here also. The garden and pool area are nice and well maintained. The entire property is surrounded by tall fence and locked gates. The children's pool is a little deeper than I would normally expect for children's pools and there are no stairs out of the water. There is a ~20cm edge to climb out of the pool. The location of the apartment is good. A 5 min walk to Mercadona for groceries and only one block to the beach. For pizza just walk across the road to get to TelePizza. This part of Salou is nice and relaxed compared to the hotel zone around Carrer de Carles Buïgas. The owner was very quick in his replies with Whatsapp and email. We were able to pay the rent and deposit with credit card thru HomeAway.com which is a very big + for me (adds a lot of payment security compared to bank transfers).
