Beachside Villa in Carib Playa

We had a great 1 week family holiday at Carib Playa. The villa has recently been modernised significantly and they have plans to finalise the last 2 bedrooms and shared downstairs bathroom, so will only get better. We wanted a chilled week and the pool and surrounding areas were perfect for that, but also walking distance from great beaches, watersports and local bars/restaurants. Only 15 mins in Uber into central Marbella should you wish to explore the old town and the marina which we did on a couple of occasions. Thanks for a great week, Highly recommended.

Pros: Very charming resort, peaceful good restaurants along beach. Bus very close by if you don't drive, but recommend car. Property was perfect, very clean and spacious, only negative freezer wasn't working.

Pros: Everything was amazing - we had some much fun, the house is beautiful, spacious, water in the pool was perfect. Neighborhood is lovely, beaches are very nice. It was quiet, not much traffic (being with running kids can be problematic). The only two things that could be done is the plumbing (as the smell can be very unpleasant) and good scrubbing - house was clean as for a daily cleaning but there are some things that could do with a proper brushing (quite a lot of limescale, grouts between tiles). Luis and Pablo were very helpful with everything, great guys

Pros: Flott på alle måter,men på nærmeste strand(5 min å gå) var det veldig steinete ute i vannet,så det var ingen som badet der.Tok oss ca. 15 min å gå til nærmeste badestrand. Brukte derfor bassenget mye. Tok buss til Marbella sentrum ,fungerte fint.

Pros: Huis is oud, maar wel mooi ruim. Tuin is groot, jammer dat het grasveld afloopt (zonnenbedden staan daardoor scheef en spelletjes met een bal is hierdoor ook lastig). Zwembad is prima.

Pros: Beautiful garden with swimming pool. But the villa and whatever was inside are not my idea of luxury. Chipped cups and plates that cannot be used in the microwave, torn furniture cover on the terrace. Also, it would need a thorough cleaning to remove mould in the bathroom.

Pros: Sehr ansprechende Villa mit Nähe zum Strand, toller Terasse, grosser Küche und ausreichenden Schlafzimmer. Cons: Im Garten beim Pool fehlen flache Rasenfläche für Spiele oder Liegestühle, um nicht im Hang zu liegen.

Pros: Vi er 4 vennepar som reiser mye sammen. Ett av valgkriteriene når vi finner hus er 4 soverom og 4 bad. Dette huset beskrives i deres tekst med følgende: Inside on the ground level you have 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a living room, a large dining room with access to the terrace, a spacious and fully equipped kitchen with a laundry room behind. Det er IKKE 3 baderom på ground floor. Det er kun 2. Huset for øvrig er fantastisk trivelig med en flott uteplass og hage og avstand til strand. MEN det hele ødelegges av at vi ikke får levert det vi i følge annonseringen har bestilt. Dette er etter min mening direkte lureri og ødelegger helhetsinntrykket og gir oss en følelse av å være lurt. Vi søker kun hus med 4 soverom og 4 bad og følgelig ville ikke dette huset kommet i betraktning hvis teksten hadde vært korrekt. (Det samme var situasjonen med det huset vi leide i Iznajar uken før. Dårlig annonsering!!!!

Pros: This villa is in a great location and decorated to a high standard. The pool was heated on arrival as requested and the manager, Pablo met us and explained everything well. The only issue was that the wi-fi wasn't working and it took most of the week to get it fixed. We had a lovely stay. The beach down the road is beautiful and it's great that there are a few restaurants within walking distance.
