Loved the property and the condo. It was clean annd comfortable. We would definitely book again.

Our stay at the Hilton tower was convenient! We were on the ground level which was great ! My grand daughter was able to step outside, run around and doing cartwheels! We could see her the whole time! Spent most of our time in the pool , by the big slide! Another Grandparents, Grand daughter’s time together! Thank you , Hilton Hotel for making another memorable Holiday for our family !🤗

This unit exceeded my expectations - the unit's design was aesthetically pleasing and very practical for a comfortable stay. The owner of this unit also did a fantastic job communicating regularly with me ahead of my stay so I knew what to expect. The property front desk and staff also were helpful when I was settling in and checking out. This was a fantastic deal and I highly recommend this unit to anyone looking to stay in Kona at this Hilton resort facility!

The property is huge and beautiful but very inconvenient. Communication was great with Expedia/Owner regarding hotel and check in info. Ocean Tower is the furthest from the parking lot, main tower and main pool. Room was nice. Great stay if you're not planning on NOT doing a lot of walking to get to car or restaurants.

Beautiful resort with many activities but very expensive with not many options for eating. Having a rental car is definitely worth it. Would absolutely go back for my nwxg vacation in Kona Hawaii

We had a wonderful time and experience staying here, everything was amazing from start to finish.

Everything here was wonderful! We were a little confused in finding the ocean tower but staff was very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this stay!

This was the best part of our Hawaii trip. I wish we had stayed here the entire time. We actually enjoyed the fact that you will do a good bit of walking here. The tram is great (especially when hauling luggage), but, otherwise, we preferred to stroll the walkway, get some fresh air, and look at the art.

Ocean Tower is an awesome place to stay. Been there three times now and enjoy it every time.

We enjoyed our room very much! It was newly renovated, so we ended up with a kitchenette! Listing says garden view, but we had a beautiful view that included the ocean! Felt like we were living in luxury with an affordable price. We hope to return someday!

Beautiful resort. Great location. Both the tram and the boats (which haven't ran in years) were not operating for 90% of our stay due to a recent tram accident. (We were told by the VRBO host that the boats were running. ??) Thankfully we are very capable of walking long distances without any issues. But this may not be the case for everyone. The Ocean Tower is a good hike from the main lobby. The room was great. Quiet. Minimum interaction with the staff. Check-in was easy. Parking is very pendy.

We had a great time and loved the room which was perfect for just 2 people. Resort amenities are outstanding.

Was not informed that tram was unavailable during our stay, necessitating a mile walk from parking lot to check in and room throughout our stay. Check in service was below average, took over an hour (only 5 groups waiting to check in) as half the staff available was trying to push the time shares rather than checking in travelers. Very clean property, friendly staff and accommodating, exceptional sites and amenities on property for entertainment.

The studio I rented was terrific! Roomy, clean, and first class amenities.

We spent a fabulous week here. Room was clean and provided everything we need. Amenities at the property were endless. We enjoyed the many pools, water slides, natural lagoon and beautiful landscaped grounds. The sunsets here were some of the most beautiful in the world. The only down size of our stay was the sheer size of the resort. It operates on a tram system however it was incredibly unreliable. This required us to walk to most places. There were stroller accessible route but they were much long then non accessible ones. The beauty and amenities provided by this property were wonderful enough to over look this and we would highly recommend it to others looking for a stay on the Big Island

Beautiful room in an idealic Hawaiian resort.This is part of a huge Hilton complex. The studio apartment has an amazing view and was really clean and felt brand new. We were impressed with the staff at the resort and the pools. A couple things to know: the check in for this part of the hotel is at the last stop of the tram when you come in. The hotel shuttle only goes to the restaurants and things within the Waikaolua Beach area, so if you are planning on going anywhere else you will need a rental and pay for parking which is 48/night. You might be able to Uber, but we didn't see many around town... We rented and brought in groceries for breakfast and snacks and it worked out great.Also, the resort has a partnership with Hawaiian Nautical for snorkeling. That was amazing and such a better deal than I could find online.

Smooth check-in process, beautiful facility

Our stay at the Ocean Tower was very relaxing. We had a room on the 8th floor overlooking the golf course. The room was very quiet. We were able to take wonderful excursions into the surrounding area and spend the afternoons by the pool again.

This resort is stunning! So much to do and the grounds are spectacular. Would stay here again in a minute!!!

Excellent location and communication.

We were not given a room with a view that we paid for. Tram was never working until our last day. No boats running. Had to call every morning for maintenance to fix the microwave. Kept fl8ckering and powering off. AC was not working onTram when they finally got it running. It was our 40th anniversary and it was not good. Also an elderly lady neededhelp and we informed employess who told us there was nothing they could do. The grounds and statues were nice

Unit is approximately 0.55 miles from the parking lot. We are Seniors with limited mobility, the maintenance of the tram was terrible, we had to walk the entire distance daily. Water taxi system ran sparingly, will not stay at this property again and will not recommend to our family and friends.

What a beautiful resort with amazing amenities and some great value!!! Close to beautiful beaches and the protected snorkeling reef was abundant with sea life! We would love to come back!

The property is wonderful and serene. The unit is well equipped and spacious. I definitely will stay here again. Mahalo plenty.

The unit is clean and modern. Really, very nice. But I did not realize how hard it would be to get from my car to the unit and back throughout the day. The resort charges 48 to park and then you walk to the resort. The building where your unit is is another half mile away. They have a train/shuttle that can take you to your building, but it was so unreliable that we ended up making that walk a few times a day.

Loved the resort, all the activities nearby and everyone was helpful and nice.

We attended a conference that was being held on site so rather than stay at our condos of choice nearby we stayed here in order to have easy access. We’ve been on this property before and it is better suited for families. It’s a good thing that we don’t mind walking on vacation because the ocean tower walk is more than a half mile from the main front desk, and that is not including the self parking lot. There should be a lot to park in for ocean tower guests, I’m confused as to why there isn’t since this is for vacation owners. The room was nice, comfortable and freshly renovated. Had it not been less expensive than staying in the hotel I’d be really disappointed. I won’t stay here again but I wouldn’t. Tell someone else that it is better suited for to avoid it. I would recommend it for families and people who will not be traveling off site from the resort.

We had been to the Hilton Waikaloa before so we knew about the grounds being great, but we weren’t sure about our room. We were so pleasantly surprised. We had a view of the ocean and the lagoon and the bay. Our room had been remodeled in the last six months and it was amazing with the microwave, refrigerator and freezer, dishes for two and the coffee maker and toaster and hot water pot. Everything was perfect. We would love to stay in the same room again. Thank you so much.

We loved the updated room, extra space in this hotel room, the nice shower, and the kitchen with a microwave, good-sized fridge, and utensils. The hotel grounds are large (so a lot of walking), but the property is well-maintained and beautiful with multiple pools!

Comfortable, spacious room. Large refrigerator/freezer. As a “guest” of the owner you have free access to nice amenities including gym, lounge and free laundry. View not special, but pleasant greenery. Pretty long walk to the parking lot, tram available but not as fast or frequent as one might hope. Beautiful resort property.

This studio is terrific. The resort is great. Huge grounds, well done.Maps of property would reduce frequent complaints but no fault of this studio.

Property has many amenities. My favorite was the private lagoon. While snorkeling there we saw sea turtles, rays, eels, and a large variety of tropical fish.

The property is beautiful and a great location right on the ocean. The facilities are well maintained and beautifully laid out. Our room was very nice. Clean. The staff were helpful and attentive.The not so good side is that upon arrival it is rather bewildering and hard to know what to do. Once we got the parking figured out it was fine, but on initial approach it was hard to know what to do.There are three large hotels in this one property. Depending on which one you are staying at will determine where you need to check in. We were in the Ocean Tower which meant we needed to take a tram or walk 15 minutes from the entrance to this other facility. The staff were helpful, but it was bewildering on initial approach. You need to get all of your bags and stuff onto a tram going the right direction. Later we learned how to make the walk from the Ocean Tower to the entrance. Walking the 10-15 minutes is often faster than waiting for the tram.Parking is in one large lot. It is not near the hotel unless you are in the one property closest to it. The Ocean Tower is the farthest away. So no quick access to your car.If you are aware of the above more unusual situations you will find the Hilton a wonderful facility. Approach it with forewarning and you will be fine. It is a great facility. Keep in mind the food is very expensive.

We had an amazing stay at the Hilton Waikoloa! The room was really nice and updated and had a great ocean view! We even saw whales breaching! Those were all awesome and unexpected surprises! We thoroughly enjoyed the property and the ocean tower is definitely the nicest part the whole resort in terms of included sun loungers and ocean views! We feel like we got a great deal and loved all the unique included features: snorkling in the lagoon (brought our own gear), walking around all the grounds (usually had 13k-17k steps a day here!!), did paddleboard yoga class. We decided to splurge and did the dolphin experience!! But even if you don’t do this, you get to see these amazing animals right on the property every time you walk by! So cool!

Great room, lots to do at the resort. Requires either a lot of walking or a lot of waiting for the tram. Check-in process was confusing and time-consuming at the resort. Find someone and ask lots of questions.

This room was everything we could have asked for and more. We had all the amenities we needed. The only things I would mention about the property is the walk to the room is quite long from where the car drops you off. There is a tram, but it is slow and can take a while. We certainly got our steps in! The check in process also took a while, but that is the resort and not the host. The host was super responsive and professional. The grounds are incredible from dolphins to the ocean to the pools, everything was incredible. The view from the room was of the golf course and the ocean, so a little more private and quiet. We loved our stay and would definitely book again.

I went to Hawaii with my sister and the place we stayed was perfect and amazing! The check in the checkout process was awesome and the location was even better. Will definitely go back.

We stayed here when the original resort ran out of rooms and we had a conference to attend here. It worked out perfectly! The resort is huge and we got lots of steps in exploring all the different areas. Our room (2055) located on the main level of ocean tower was awesome, complete with kitchenette, balcony overlooking the golf course and ocean, eating area and couch and all newly renovated. We hope to come back!

This room was beautiful and so comfortable to stay in. It was the nicest place we stayed in by far out of several hotels. The host was easy to deal with and very patient and understanding, even when I messed up the payment. The resort itself is huge and had a ton to do for all ages. It does not have an ocean beach, which was a downfall. However there is a lagoon with a beach and you can snorkel as it is ocean fed. I would highly recommend this Vrbo. Just be sure to check out the Queens market up the road so you’re not spending a fortune at the resort restaurants! Thanks for a great stay!

The Hilton has changed over the years. They have gotten rid of their resident animals and koi ponds. There are less restaurants available now as well. The rooms have greatly improved with the Ocean Tower being a grand vacations resort. Our rooms were perfect, clean, updated with full sized refridgerator, microwave and sink; it more than made up for the limited restaurants as we could buy groceries locally. The shower and smart toilet in the bathrooms were also excellent. Free washers and dryers were available as well and not busy. I would recommend this resort.

Wonderful location. Fun to swim with the turtles and spotted rays in the lagoon. Slide at pool super fun.

The resort is beautiful but the tram worked half the week and the boats in the canal did not work. The lagoon and the pools are amazing! The activites at the resort are wonderful. Waikola location is nice keep in mond walks are long pacl tennis shoes. Great stay!mind

This was a very nice efficiency room. Very modern & comfortable.

This place offered everything you could ever wish for in a room and resort. Guests have access to gym, new experiences such as Thai chi, sound therapy, and paddle board yoga in the lagoon. Multiple pools and restaurants to feed your mind, most, and soul. Views are stunning and staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Eat walk into town for more adventures or take the resort shuttle van for a low cost. I highly recommend this place! You will not be disappointed!

The room was amazing! Had a small kitchenette and a large fridge. It was perfecr for the two of us. It was a bit of a walk to the car about a half mile (the trams a/c was broken and it was a bit on the slow side). Thank goodness I needed my steps🙂. Overall the stay was amazing! Would rent again!
