To ensure the long-term comfort of our guests, the Waikiki Grand Hotel will be undergoing vital plumbing improvements from mid-July through late December 2026, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. With no work on Weekends, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas Day. Daytime noise and activity should beexpected.
● Please note that our rates have already been significantly discounted for this period, and no additional discounts before, during or after will be given. If you’re planning to spend your daytime relaxing inside the hotel, we recommend checking dates outside this window to ensure you have the best experience possible.
● Since most of the activity occurs during the day, it’s the perfect excuse to spend your 8-to-5 hours exploring the beauty of Waikiki Beach, hiking Diamond Head, or enjoying local excursions!
● If your travel plans require a quiet environment during daytime hours, we completely understand and suggest considering alternative dates so you can fully enjoy your stay with us!

Step out on the vast SunDeck for perhaps, the most dramatic view in Waikiki Beach stretching from the mountains to the surf breaks of Waikiki. Bigger than you can hold your arms out is the iconic Leʻahi Crater, more popularly known as Diamond Head.

The SunDeck has tables and chairs and offers the opportunity to meet other visitors while sharing a sunrise, a sunset or just enjoying the view of Kapiʻolani Park and the ocean.
