Villa Giulia: Attico con Terrazzo in Villa Signorile a due Passi dal Mare.,

Apartment was lovely traditional Italian space with beautiful and large terrace. Inside was spacious and had all the comforts of a kitchen and shower and bathroom. Nice to have a clothes washer in apartment and ability to dry clothes on a line. Must be able to walk up 4 flights of stairs. Parking available outside on street even though only a few spaces available sometimes. A lime and lemon tree in front of building. Close drive to a fantastic food and fish market called Sole365

There are five of us (two adults and three kids age 10 - 15). We stayed here in late May / early June 2018 for one week. It's a block of apartments with this one being on the top floor. There are three flights of stairs which was fine by us but worth bearing in mind if you have mobility issues. The top floor means you get a fairly big terrace which we sometimes ate outdoors on. The apartment is equipped with most things you need and has an air conditioning unit in the bedrooms - which we needed at this time of year. There's a main double bedroom and the other room is semi-split into two - one with a small single, the other - two small single beds. It's effectively one room though. It's great for a family with young children but you wouldn't want to try and fit five adults in. There is a supermarket nearby - we had a hire car which helped. Parking is at the roadside on what is a fairly quiet street. Noise was never a problem. There is a football ground right at the back of the apartment but I only saw children using it for a tournament and that was on only one occasion. Beyond the football ground are amazing views of mountains. The beach is indeed only 100 metres away, however access is via a path owned by a local bar who charge you to use it. This doesn't seem uncommon in Italy. If you walk down nearer the town there is free public access and a bit of beach where you don't have to pay for a sun lounger. It's not an unreasonable walk but is more than 100 metres. The town seems nice and has a market. It's probably a 10-15 minute walk away. There are good restaurants within walking distance of the apartment. Formia isn't overly touristy and we didn't see many other Brits there. The scenic town of Sperlonga isn't a long drive to get to and worth a visit as is the nearer town of Gaeta. We did a trip to Pompeii and Vesuvius one day. It's a 90 minute drive each way but is certainly doable. All told, the apartment was good value and suited our needs well. If we were to visit Formia again I'd definitely use the same apartment. Diego and his father were pleasant and really helpful. They went out of their way and texted during the holiday to check all was ok. Great value family holiday.

Just perfect, like the appartment below! This is our 2nd year in this residence. The owner is great, 24/7 available when needed. The terrace is perfect to stay, great view, the outside shower, after going to the beach (wich is not even 5 minutes walk!) is perfect. We sure will come back, no better place to be!

This is a wonderful Penthouse Villa. The Cleanliness was amazing. The Villa is in a very quiet gated complex where we always felt safe. The beach was a few minute walk away. The city of Formia was rich with culture, activities, great food, and of course great gelato. We would highly recommend spending your holiday here. The Villa also has very spacious kitchen with all the amenities and the patio is just a wonderful place to dine Al Fresca, or enjoy a bottle of wine. Diego was fantastic to deal with. The flat is very nice, very clean and comfortable. I love the kichen and the terrace with flowers. We stayed two weeks, and we loved sitting out every evening having our dinner, enjoying the local wine.View to mountains was incredible and the sea just few steps from the appartment (100 metres). Diego and his parents very nice, helpful people. Parking was easy in the street. I hope we can come here, I highly recommended. Many thanks to Diego for the perfect holiday in this apartment.

We loved our stay at this penthouse. It is in a not touristic area, so you live between local people. Our host Diego was amazing. He even brought us fresh vegetables! The place was perfect for the five of us. The veranda was beautiful and relaxing. The house was top clean and fully equipped. Two nice bedrooms with airco, a spacy kitchen and bathroom. A supermarket only 5 minutes walk. The beach also 5 minutes walk. We had a car and went several times to the beach at Eden resort, Via Flacca Gaeta. We recommend that beach, clean, nice waves. Formia has a nice old centre and you don't see a lot tourists from outside Italy. Good restaurants. Busstop nearby the house. Sperlonga has also a nice old centre. We also went to Rome and Napels. (by car and by train) We have seen a lot of holiday houses and we would highly recommend this house!

Beautiful apartment. Next to the private beach, clear, calm sea. Shops with low prices (Сonad, Sisa) 200 meters from the apartment. The apartment has everything for a good rest and cooking. The owner met at the station, entertained vegetables from his garden and house wine.The city center and the port 25 minutes on foot, you can move on the bus.
