Stayed Aug 14, 2025The village Riquewihr is a very picturesque, pleasant and admirable location.However, parking is a big challenge and even after payment at the tourist agency for a parking permit (5/day) you may still encounter the challenge of an available parking lot.The accommodation itself and the stay was okay, but there are some things that definitely require some attention:1) Communication with the owner was very sluggish and inadequate !!We did enter the accommodation uncleaned with used bed sheets lying on the floor and after I had blown the whistle a couple of times on this situation the cleaners did come at about 21 pm in the evening !!2) We were also expecting a washmachine in the house, but did find out that there was a washmachine in a laundry room downstairs. This was okay, but it was inadequately communicated and not specified in the advertisement of this accommodation.3) Both the bathroom and the toilet could do with some proper ventilation.4) At hot weather the accommodation at the 3rd floor can be very hot, so that the availability of Airco or more fans would be appropriate and correct.5) The rooms are directly at the level of the roof adjacent to the roofs of the next door house. It would have been good if those windows are provided with Flyscreens even though the place was not infested with bats or musquitoes.Overall, the place worthy for leisure spending and this accommodation is okay, but if the communication with the owner was more instant and upfr

Stayed Dec 14, 2019Frank was a very friendly calm welcoming host who was keen to ensure we had all we needed to enjoy our stay. The apartment, les Geraniums is at the top of three flights of stairs which we managed fine but us worth being g aware of. We’d recommend for sure!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969A really nice apartment owned by a very friendly and helpful couple. Very well equipped kichen; comfortable beds; central to pretty Riquewihr and good base for exploring further afield. The very hot weather made it too warm, but the sunny days were brilliant. En suite shower and basin for each of the two rooms but only one WC between them.
