Impeccably designed and recently refurbished for the year 2023, the open-plan living space boasts abundant natural light streaming through its generous windows. Sink into the plush sofa, complete with Smart TV and complimentary Wi-Fi for the duration of your stay.



Discover a modern, well-equipped kitchen, with all mod cons needed for a self-catering stay. Outside you can meander down to the serene riverside, where you can take in the breath-taking scenery of the surrounding countryside. During the summer months, a communal BBQ and picnic area are available, allowing for delightful alfresco dining experiences.



Victory Mill, formerly an operational mill and rechristened after the Second World War, graciously accommodates up to two guests, making it a perfect destination for couples or single travelers. The apartment showcases an exquisitely designed bedroom, serving as a cozy and tranquil retreat after a day of adventure. The bedroom boasts a comfortable double bed, in addition to a wonderfully proportioned bathroom, complete with a shower, basin, and WC. The bedroom is upstairs, in a mezzanine area, whereas the bathroom is downstairs. Due to the bedroom having a partial sloping ceiling, the bed height was designed to be slightly lower to standard (at 40 cm).



Feel free to bring your four-legged companions along, as they too can revel in the abundant outdoor space, including private stream-side walkways as depicted in the images.     Beautiful apartment, well stocked with everything you need, exceptionally clean, the bed was really comfy - it is low but it didn’t matter we had a great sleep. Excellent WiFi. Comfy sofa. Luxury towels. The little plug in torches around the property were a great idea. Location is perfect for pubs, dog walking with a secure dog field and access on foot to Dalby forest. We had a brilliant stay will definitely be back.

    Lovely pet friendly cottage with secure patio area and access to fenced in dog exercise area. Location was perfect, peaceful but only a 5 minute walk into the village. Only a couple of improvements, cups were very tea stained so had to scrup them clean, fridge was left dirty so also had to clean. Mattress on the bed needs replacing, no fun being stabbed in the night with mattress springs. Overall we had a lovely time and would recommend, just need a few improvements.

    The accommodation was in a lovely quiet area there was a dog walking area picnic tables and barbecue facilities.Very short walk past a stream to the lovley village of Thornton le dale passing the most photographed cottage on the way.The accommodation was clean and comfortable the kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The only thing for me not to give five stars was either the TVthe internet connection wasn't good kept cutting out not that we come on holiday to watch TV but wasn't working well.

    Brilliant location, close to everything, particularly if you are visiting Mathewsons in Thornton le Dale. The apartment you have everything you need for staying and there was a nice walk on route with lots of seats on route. As it is dog friendly, it would be good to have a wee gate at the end of the cobble patio to secvure dogs at the front. The bed is very low especially for anyone who has mobility issues but it does give you a brilliant sleep.

    Self catered apartment with all the items you needed. Location excellent and close to the village and amenities. Property well designed and has its own access and outside space. Highly Reccommend. TV a challenge for live programs but managed in the end.

    Lovely modern spacious apartment complete with everything you need. Quiet location within a short walking distance from the centre of the village and walking footpaths. Plenty of parking was a bonus and a small outdoor area with seating and a table if you want to sit outside. Happily stayed here for our 2 week holiday and would definitely stay again. Not a problem but thought I should mentioned the bathroom downstairs which could be a problem for some people.

    Great location and beautiful surroundings. There was an odour in the apartment that was off putting. The carpets and upholstery could do with a freshening up. We felt quite cold in the property, the storage heater downstairs did warm things up a bit and the heater in the bedroom was fine.
