Place was great. Street parking was available. Beautiful home and very comfortable. AC kept the place very nice and cool. Definitely would stay again.

Matt was an excellent host and his apartment was wonderful! It was very clean upon arrival and is super spacious. The location was also great for getting around the city quickly!

I absolutely adored this house. I love older houses, and this one did not disappoint. The house is immaculate and has everything that you need! The host provided valuable resources to local restaurants, attractions and such. As a couple of people mentioned, this is in a high noise area. I was still able to sleep undisturbed. With that said, I would still return to this location. We were able to Uber with ease to 4th Street Live and NuLu. Parking was easy on the street. The street was not crowded at all, and we rarely saw anyone in the neighborhood. I do suggest this place if you are looking for a comfortable and inexpensive stay.

We loved staying in this historic property. It was quiet and conveniently located near the interstate. We were provided everything we needed and it was clean. My son loved that there was a piano in the guest room. The host provided so much information and was very attentive. The neighborhood might look a little “sketch” when you first pull up, but it’s just old. We didn’t have a single problem while we were there, and it was very quiet. We hardly heard the interstate noise except for when it got busy and you could only hear it from the living room window. The guest/kids’ bedroom conveniently has blackout curtains too, which is very thoughtful!

Beautiful accommodations. Very neat and clean. Location is convenient and the property is exactly as described. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Yes!! It was amazing how well equipt the kitchen was. We brought our food and thought they would have a microwave. When we got there i found they had a complete kitchen. Sooo nice.

Great location— easy to get to all of the places we wanted to visit and parking was never an issue. Matt was very responsive to the few needs we had. 2 thoughts to make this place even better— update the shower curtain to fully wrap around and update the mirror in the bathroom to one that has the built in lighting (easy Amazon purchase). Super cute property! Thanks for having us!

We enjoyed our night at this house, the beds were very comfortable and the house itself was very charming. Our daughter loved the nook under the stairs the most!

Me and my daughter had to come to town to take care of some business and stayed here for one night. We loved it! Very neat and clean. Adorable apartment!

We have stayed here several times. This is the first time since the economy rebounded after the Covid crisis. There was more highway noise at night that we remembered. Everything else was wonderful as always. Matt is a great host and very responsive.

The listing is accurate. The place is in a neat, old home with all the quirks and charms of an old house. The street is quiet, despite it being in a dense neighborhood. Make sure to look around Old Louisville, there are some really amazing houses. Parking was always available on the street right in front.

Stayed here on a quick 2 night trip. Thoroughly enjoyed this apartment. It was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The owner was very good about communicating before and during. Highly recommended!

The pace was good for a short trip. Close to everything. The only reason I didn't give a 5 is because the outdoor space was messy. The outdoor seating and tables were dirty and rusty.

We basically just needed a place to sleep. I'm at 10pm, out by 7am. The place was perfect for us.

Nicely renovated Victorian. Clean and neat with all necessary conveniences. Quiet neighborhood in convenient location. As others have mentioned the neighborhood seems safe enough but is a little run down. We didn’t walk around the neighborhood but that was due to a busy schedule not the area. There is noise from the highway but that didn’t affect sleeping. There is a white noise machine in the master bedroom if needed. The host, Matt, was very quick to respond to any needs.

What a nice place! The attention to detail in the renovation of this little old Victorian house was impressive. It’s just what you would think of with an old city home with the high ceilings and the original hardwood floors with beautiful detail around the edges. This was like nothing else we have stayed in before and we have stayed in quite a few rentals, but never a little row house in the middle of the city. We are small town folk, so for us the sirens and trains and helicopters and planes, because there is a few hospitals close by made it a little difficult to sleep. The freeway is very close as well. However if you’re used to the city I’m sure it would be normal. That being said the place felt safe and very comfortable and was close to all the cool stuff that Louisville has to offer.

Our only issue with the rental - we didn’t stay long enough! This rental was perfect for my girls getaway, and we only stayed one night. The beds were comfortable, and the living room was perfect for relaxing after being out for the day. This location is close to downtown and there was street parking right outside. We weren’t ready to leave :). Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment in Louisville's Victorian neighborhood...a neighborhood filled with beautiful restored homes. Our apartment was very conveniently located to many popular Louisville sites as well including the University of Louisville where we were attending a sporting event. The apartment has been carefully restored and felt well loved. The owner was very responsive to our questions before check-in and we were able to get acquainted during our stay. We would like to return someday and spend more time in the neighborhood. Excellent experience.

What a cute little spot! Though the noise from the highway outside was a bit loud, the road in front of the unit is closed for construction and was easy to park out front every day. This area is undergoing a revitalization and I’m excited to see how it grows and thrives! Loved the charm of this space. Had everything I needed and was peaceful and adorable.

The place was as advertised. Victorian! Floors are beautifully done, a lot of work I am sure. It was clean. Home is very old and chilly. Shower is just weird, shower curtain doesn’t go completely around so it is cold. Lock was difficult to open, after 5 tries we finally got in. Small bedroom has light weight curtains and at 5am neighbor turned on outside lights to let out a dog and the whole room light up, we were ther only one night and did not contact the owner who lives upstairs.

There are many positive things to say about this property and property manager. The updates inside were very nice, you can tell a lot of thought went into creating a warm and inviting space. The beds were comfortable. Games for my family to enjoy. Overall, lovely inside. However a few notes to add: BATH - the shower was very awkward…a curtain not closing all the way and opening towards the door for all to see. NEIGHBORHOOD - my family of four (with young children) did not feel safe. A lot of condemned buildings/homes nearby. This specific property sits under a loud over pass. Sirens and horns all night long. We cut our trip short because of these reasons…only staying 1 out of 2 nights that we paid for. As much as I loved the interior and appreciated the friendliness and professionalism of the property manager, I would not suggest this property for a young family…mainly based off of the location.

very nice and convenient place

Overall this cute Victorian place was lovely. We had everything we needed for a nice night in. The only complaint I have is that the listing states that it sleeps 6 which is a stretch… there is a very tiny nook that is cute but not big enough for someone to actually sleep in. I also wouldn’t consider the couch (with no pull out) as a proper place for someone to sleep, especially without blankets. It comfortably sleeps four. This was a great little place overall.

Very charming property. Townhouse was very clean! It’s in a great location, not too far away from all the great spots. Bed was comfortable too. Will be staying here again.

Charming old home located in quiet neighborhood less than 10 minutes Uber ride from downtown Louisville.

Gorgeous hard wood floors, comfortable beds, and relaxing atmosphere! Hosts responded quickly to any questions. Easy parking!

This apartment was conveniently located to all the events we wanted to see. The apartment felt more like a home so it was very comfortable and roomy.

We enjoyed one night at the home. Check-in was extremely easy. The home is perfect for a family of 4. Our son loved the reading nook and even slept there! We absolutely loved the VERY limited check-out process. We did not have to clean the entire home like we had to do at other VRBOs! Very easy drive to NULU. Highly recommend!

My brother and I brought our dad to Louisville for some Bourbon Trailing. Had a great time walking around downtown all day, then finished he night relaxing in this beautiful apt. We weren't at the apt for anymore than 12 hours, but was a very nice place to stay and close to everything!

This was a wonderful Victorian home in Old Louisville. We had tickets to a magic show at The Nevermore which was within walking distance but a Lyft was very affordable, so we chose that instead. We felt safe in this neighborhood and would recommend that anyone stay here. Lovely location!

The wonderful old home has been renovated to create a cozy, warm space. It had all the amenities we needed during our stay - Keurig coffee, washer/dryer, recommended eatery or things to do. We enjoyed the convenience to downtown where I participated in this athletic event. My sister and I also enjoyed a full day at the 2024 Kentucky State Fair also a quick drive from this location.

We loved our time in this beautiful, historic house! We weren't there long enough to use the kitchen or TV areas, but the house was well equipped for a longer stay than our weekend getaway. Quiet neighborhood, sweet space in the backyard to have a glass of wine or morning coffee. This was our first trip to Louisville and the location was perfect for getting around the city.

We stopped for one night on our way to Tennessee. It was perfect for our needs. Very cozy, clean and quiet.

Enjoyed the space especially outside on the patio with the lights!
