Stayed Sep 1, 2024Superb location, huge space, low price....guess that gave it away; we have stayed in Otranto 10 times, we have taken many houses and apartments in Italy over decades, we try to be positive or constructive in our views, however, it is not possible in the space given to give a full review; summary is, constant issue with rubbish piling up outside, no meeting with owner until forced to come, no written instructions, many things didn't work, dreadful sheets (one had kittens printed!), towels, beds, and facilities all poor, no bins, shower flooded every time used, some shutters didn't work, living rooms chairs in poor condition, sound transference with first floor extreme, front door left wide open - no keys, many electric plugs didn't work, ceiling fans totally inadequate (at about 25 degrees just about ok, we arrived in 36 deg!), workmen came to fix various items and we had to stay in so lost three mornings and had to clean up after them, TV seems to have some control on so could not use with lap top to get UK tv, floor so dirty we had black soles of feet in minutes, and on and on! And it could be such a wonderful place if money invested. Owner needs to think about providing a service, not only about making money, if you provide a decent service the money will follow.
