Great location, place was clean and ready when we arrived. Communication was prompt with owner. We would definitely stay again. I give 5 stars when top notch and great attention to finer details. I give this a 4 or 4.5 for a few reasons. Not show stoppers but enough to step down slightly. First reserved unit #3 on main floor. Was told we were moved to #5 on 2nd floor. I requested pictures of #5 which were given promptly. I accepted as we were able to use stairs easily. Would have preferred more of a “sorry we hope this would be acceptable or are stairs an issue” vs you are changed. It all worked out fine but that is why not a 5 star. Minor things that would be 5-10 min maintenance fixes. Door strike on exterior door loose so door didn’t lock when closed. I tightened screws with knife and was better. Bath strike hanging missing a screw. Kitchen sink can light falls out of ceiling. Won’t stay locked in.
This is a nice quiet neighborhood with easy walking access to restaurants and parks
Location is great, honestly walking distance from many restaurants and stores. The apartment is spacious and parking was available. It was very very clean. The apartment was old but everything works so didn't bother us. The water in the shower wasn't quite hot enough for me. But otherwise had a great stay!
I needed a place to stay for several weeks during renovations at my home, and this apartment was perfect for my needs — clean, convenient to my work and home, had all the amenities, and covered parking. It served my needs perfectly. Joan and Jerry were great - and very helpful when I needed to extend my stay. And they brought a new coffee maker the day after the one in the apartment started leaking. I would highly recommend!
Staying in November with my girlfriend for our first trip to Texas. The location is great. There were multiple shops and bars we could walk to! Knox Park is a great area to stay in Dallas
My husband and I came to Dallas to visit our son for the weekend. The apartment location was perfect and it provided everything we needed- parking, kitchen, WiFi, toiletries, etc. I would definitely recommend!
Great unit! Had everything we needed. Convenient. Nice restaurants nearby. Responsive owners! Already planning our next stay.
This location delivered on the convenience we were looking for during our stay in Dallas. Easy access to Central Expressway , the Park Cities and the many amenities that the Uptown area has to offer. Specially enjoyed a morning walk on Katie Trail before the start of our day. The unit was clean and pleasant and the hosts were very responsive to any inquiries.
They have done a good job remodeling to this apartment but it is still an older building with a smell of an old building. We had to keep the windows open to help with the smell. The kitchen was clean but had only a few cooking dishes specially for baking. It does not have a sharp knife, I even had a difficult time cutting a potato with the small knife available. Our main problem was with the bathroom. The sink did not drain well. The floor of the bathroom is laminate and it appears that the toilet is not sealed which causes a definite smell in the bathroom (the fan in the bathroom did not work which would have helped). There is only one outlet in the bathroom and it is located under the light above the sink. The mirror does not give any space to plug a hairdryer. I had to use the outlet in the bedroom and I had to sit down on the floor to use it as the plug of the dryer kept falling off the outlet. It is located in a nice neighborhood and a short walk to Trader Joe's and several restaurants. There is a nice walk path close to it. It had parking space. Despite having several positives points, I will not stay at this place again as I am sensitive to odors.
My family stayed here while we were waiting for the dorms to open up at SMU and had a good experience. The location is great and not far from many points of interest in Dallas.
