Stayed Mar 7, 2025The property was what we needed for the weekend: a home base while we attended sporting events. We wanted more than a hotel so we could keep everyone together during down time, we wanted a pool and some beach space. The property is old. The furniture is old and basic. The beds were surprisingly comfy, location was great, staff was friendly and efficient. The unit was clean but the it was obvious the property had taken on water because the doors were all warped at the bottom. Baseboards were dirty and tub metal was peeling, there's a paper towel/motel type of shower curtain in the tubs. I would have given this 5 stars just for the simple fact that it was as expected- until we were told about the resort fee. The resort fee is out of pocket. You get a few face sized towels at the pool, and the pool is very very small. That's it. And when you look at the multiple listings for this property, some have a resort fee and some do not. And the rate is all over the place. We chose a unit with no resort fee- and was charged anyway.. the place is fine- but there's nothing resort like at this property

Stayed Mar 8, 2024Property was great. Good breakfast and bar with live music Friday evening. Firepit lit nightly from dusk til 10 - met several nice couples sitting there in the evening. Walkable to Whiskey Joes. Central location to get to Tampa for hockey game then Clearwater for baseball game. The unit we stayed in could use some updating of furniture and decor - it teally was adequate at best.
