This stylish, fully equipped two-bedroom apartment is located just a few minutes from the centre of Tavira and is within a short walking distance to the Gran Plaza Shopping Centre.

This modern air-conditioned apartment is fully equipped with everything that you need for your holiday and more. Situated on the ground floor you have a small terrace leading from the kitchen, which is ideal to have your breakfast or a drink before dinner.

This lovely bright apartmentfaces south giving you the full morning sun. Tastefully furnished to a high standard with wooden floors throughout the apartment. The lounge offers you the perfect place to unwind after a relaxing day of exploring the local area with its large tv and free wi-fi. There is also a dining table where you can sample the local wines and fresh produce on offer and enjoy the company of good friends or family.

This apartment consists of two bedrooms one with a double bed and the other, two single beds that can be joined together to make a double bed.

The apartment is located just a short walk to the Gran Plaza shopping centre which has a supermarket, cinema, food court and plenty of shops. A 10-15 min walk and you are in the old town of Tavira which is full of history, set on the river, this is a place that you will want to visit time and time again. With plenty of restaurants offering fresh fish as well as local and international cuisine.

The apartment is located in a secure condominium, with a shared pool and gardens.

## Neighborhood

There is a beautiful coastline of unspoilt beaches within a short drive, which are crossed by the Ria Formosa Natural Reserve, considered to be one of the seven natural wonders of the Algarve. The Praia de Tavira is the region’s finest and most popular beach, which is connected to Tavira by a regular and inexpensive ferry, which departs from the city centre (10-minute walk from the apartment) and also from Quatro-Aguas. The Island is 11Km long and is thought to be one of the best beaches in the Algarve Region. Many companies offer boat tours, including kayaking and paddle boarding.

The town’s leisure centre is next door to the condominium which offers superb leisure facilities including a 25 metre, 8-lane indoor pool, 5 newly resurfaced tennis courts and an Astroturf.

Tavira is also a great location for golfers with a range of courses close by offering beautiful scenery in peaceful surroundings, including Monte Rei which has been ranked as the best course in the Algarve.

Tavira is well known for its quaint traditional streets, where old meets new, and is a great place to do some sightseeing and while away time in the sun with a glass of wine in one of its charming plazas or cobbled streets.

## Transit

There is public transport available in the area and all around the Algarve. But bus and trains do not go very often and a (rental) car is recommended

    A very clean, spacious apartment, well equipped and comfortable in a quiet location and only about 10-15 minute walk to the main town area.The TV didn't work/wasn't tuned in for 'normal' TV and we tried several things to no avail. You could get Netflix and YouTube but it was all in Portuguese. It didn't particularly bother us as we weren't really there to watch TV but it had been brought up in a previous review so obviously nothing has been done about it. Quite a big inconvenience for us was that you only got one set of keys and you actually needed a key to get in or out of the gates to the complex. This isn't a problem if you are all going out together or are just a couple staying, but in our case of two couples we did different things and had to make sure that one or the other was there to let the others in. The pool was a nice temperature but all of the sunbeds were padlocked together so you could only swim and then go back to the apartment.Rubbish disposal is not within the complex - you have to use the bins out in the street which are divided up for recycling. (We were searching for a big wheelie bin)Communication with Rental Valley was very good and I had quick email replies to any queries I had.Overall we had a lovely week and would definitely stay again but only as a couple as the key situation really was a pain.

    The apartment was lovely and we enjoyed our holiday. The management company who manage the property really gave the impression, we have your money please don't bother us There where only 2 sunbeds for apartment and one set of keys, makes it difficult with you family members if they want to go out and do there own thing? could not sit around pool altogether. The wifi was all incorrect and there where 5 codes. i did call the rental company to help with sunbeds and wifi but it was a waste of my time. The only member of the rental valley team that seemed to be professional was Diane. The rental team that have this apartment on there books really need some training in customer relations, they are so unhelpful. I would never go to Rental valley again. There where lots of other issues but all these minor issues just added up. Rental valley pull your socks up, and organise your properties better for the the owner and the client. regards Phil

    The property was very modern, very clean and spacious, 4 of us fit quite comfortably. I do wish the bathrooms had towel rails though. Also, there are no instructions for where to throw away any garbage; and coincidentally there were no garbage bags in the property (very little toilet paper and dishwasher pods) so had to buy some, but no big deal. Overall it was a great location for us, excellent property with good communications with the staff. Thank you

    The apartment was situated in a quiet location not far from the Gran Plazza shopping centre. Easy walk to the centre of Tavira, all on the flat. 10mins walk to the ferry. It was spacious for four adults. Well equiped kitchen. Lovely and clean.

    Não sei se foi por inexperiência, mas numa casa que esteja disponível para alugar deverá haver mais atenção aos pormenores. Existem pequenas coisas que não podem faltar, como uma toalha/individuais para a mesa, não haver sabonete nas casas de banhos, espreguiçadeiras para os hóspedes, etc. Sao pequenos pormenores que fazem a diferença. O apartamento tem tudo para que os hóspedes possam terminar umas férias completamente satisfeitos, mas não se deve esquecer de fazer um acompanhamento mais próximos com os hóspedes.

    First we were very surprised about the cleanliness of the house, it's really impeccable maybe except the oven. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything need. House is really like the photos, bedrooms are a bit tight but enough for a vacation house while kitchen and living room are ample. Good TV and sofa. Modern decoration and well kept. The minuses are clearly the slow internet (for work it's tricky and if 1 person is on youtube, the other can't be). Host needs to upgrade to fiber network like the neighbors (it's the same price, just ask MEO to upgrade :) ). It's a ground floor so it's a bit unsafe that the living room doesn't have blinds that close down. The house is very well kept but the condominium isn't: the pool area deck is very damaged and looks bad, the pool had lights floating inside it and it had quite a dirty floor, neighbors also use the pool area to store a lot of belongings so it doesn't look good and the grass didn't seem to be cut for a month or more. Not the fault of the owner but the condominium really needs a complaint since it's really in bad shape. We only used the pool once because of this. Personally I enjoy the location of the house: a calm area, where you walk to the mall and buy everything you need and with a 10m walk you are in city center. To go to the beaches you need a car. Overall it's still a 5 star. I will come again if the internet is upgraded.
