The Space:
A contemporary two bedroom, two and half bathroom Tennis Villa behind La Quinta Resort in the heart of La Quinta. The two story unit has a spacious downstairs living area that opens to a large back yard with a private patio that includesoutdoor seating and a gas BBQ grill. Guests enter through the front or garage door and are welcomed by a family room that includes a wall-mounted flat screen TV, a gas fireplace, comfy couches and a wet bar with a min-fridge/wine cooler. A queen AeroBed is available for use to provide additional sleeping in the downstairs portion of the condo. The family room opens to a dining area with a large table seating six and a breakfast bar with several high-top chairs. The fully equipped kitchen with every major appliance and ample cook/dinnerware opens to the dining area. Guests can access the back yard through sliding glass doors in the along the back of the condo. Both bedrooms are located on the second floor. The primary bedroom has a king bed, large closet, TV and a small balcony overlooking the back yard. The en-suite primary bathroom has a double vanity, walk-in shower and large soaking tub. The guest bedroom sits across the hallway and also has a king bed, and a balcony with breathtaking views of the Santa Rosa Mountains. The en-suite guest bathroom has a walk-in shower, large vanity and toilet. A laundry closet with a full washer and dryer is in a hall closet between the two bedrooms on the second floor. A downstairs powder room, an attached two car garage and additional driveway and street parking round out of the list of ammentities in this delightful villa.

The community pool and hot tub are just steps away and available year-round for guest enjoyment. The main lobby area of La Quinta Resort is a 5-10 minute walk from the condo and offers multiple restaurants and shops to choose from. Other desert attractions are only a short drive once outside the gates of the community and make this an excellent choice if you are looking for a resort experience in a private home. Guest Access:
California Vacation Villas provides guests with 24-hour contactless check-in and check-out through automated access. Guests will receive a door code specific to their stay 3 days prior to arrival. The code will activate at 4pm on the day of arrival and deactivate at 11am on the day of departure. The Tennis Villas are in a gated community along with Santa Rosa Cove and 24 hour security provides access through two gates to enter the community. The condos have attached two car garages and there is additional lot parking and street parking along Avenida Fernando and Calle Mazatlan. Guests should park in the garage, open lot spaces or along the street in the direction of traffic and display the parking pass provided by security at all times. Garage doors should remain closed when not in use.

The Neighborhood:
The Tennis Villas are a collection of privately owned one-three bedroom condos in a gated community behind La Quinta Resort in south La Quinta. The one and two story villas provide travelers with a comfortable resort setting while having all the benefits of a spacious living space complete with all the comforts of home. Multiple heated community pools and hot tubs combined with quick access to La Quinta Resort and the surrounding area put guests in a prime location. The majority of the Tennis Villa units are less than a 10 minute walk to the main lobby area of La Quinta Resort. The lobby area includes multiple dining options including Twenty-Six, Adobe Grill and Morgan's Steakhouse. A variety of shops and the resort's conference rooms are located near the lobby. The community is a short-drive to the Mountain and Dunes Golf Courses, Old Town La Quinta and the Highway 111 shopping corridor. If you're looking for a resort experience in a private home, the Tennis Villas should be at the top of your list.

La Quinta is home to over 30 public and private golf courses. The PGA Tour's American Express event is hosted at several of the city's courses each January. Getting Around:
Guests visiting the Coachella Valley can access a majority of the desert's attractions within 10-45 minutes by car. Ride share and taxis are available a majority of the time and are more readily available from November-April. Palm Springs International Airport is a 20-45 minute drive from most desert locations and Ontario and Los Angeles International Airport can be used as alternatives for air travel. Interstate 10 runs through the northern side of the Coachella Valley providing access to all desert cities from Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego to the west and Phoenix and Las Vegas to the east and north. A car is recommended for any extended stay in the area.

    The property is beautiful. We enjoyed it so much. The property managers are another story and not worth the aggravation we experienced. It's a group in the Coachella Valley and they are quite full of themselves and not very professional. Supposedly they sent paper work we were supposed to fill out in advance. They didn't write us this through VRBO and when we called VRBO to get instructions to enter they couldn't contact them either. I spent an hour on the phone before escalating the problem to a supervisor. They were going to put us up in another hotel for one night until they could contact the property management firm for this property. This firm is arrogant and basically told us that we should have filled out a form sent to us a month ago. Obviously, if we had received it, we would have. The property is beautiful but the management company is not worth the trouble. VRBO personnel were not up on the requisite paper work needed for the property nor did they know how to contact them. Unecessary stress for an expensive rental. Trash was still in the kitchen but they took care of it right away.

    The property is a perfect setup with common space below and bedrooms upstairs. The kitchen was a nice size and it was nice to have a little backyard instead of just a patio. The master bathroom had 4 of the 6 lightbulbs not working above the sinks so the bulbs need to be replaced. Also there was tree trimming done around the property starting around 7:30am for 3 days in a row which went on for hours each day, but that is the resort keeping up the landscaping before high season starts.

    great space for adults to socialize , indoors and out. nice location, quiet, away from tennis and other sounds, private yard well equipped, rooms were all comfortable and spacious. one cautionary note: two prescription capsules were found on the floor in front bedroom. may alert cleaning staff. this was a concern because there was a toddler present. also we had to wait for cleaners to finish, the place was not ready at 4pm. none of this bothered a great stay. would recommend to friends and rent again
