Tucson's Catalina Foothills Casita - Quails Nest - Beautiful Mountain Views!

The reason for the lower stars is that the upon arrival you will learn the owners control the temperature from a remote location. If you go o/s their designated parameters they will be alerted and you will incur additional charges. be aware- you will potentially be cold/hot depending on time of year and you will be charged if you run the heat/a/c. Not great.

The house was great, very tidy and pleasantly decorated.

Well maintained casita in the hills. We liked the location for being close to hiking and easy access to some good restaurants. It's a simple stay with everything you need. Loved having my coffee on the small porch in the cool fall desert morning. Yes, the driveway can be a tight fit, but we didn't find it to be an inconvenience at all.

Nice place but lots of little issues and room for improvement. The host was responsive and helpful.

Great place exactly as described. If you are looking for one bedroom (w option of pullout? couch which we didnt use) this is great! Nice back patio area which had shade until around noon in October was great for morning coffee. Beutiful view with nice neighborhood in the foothills. Complete with comfortable bed. I would be happy to stay here again when visiting my daughter at U of A (about 25 mins)

Came by myself and this place was perfect. Super comfortable bed, very quiet and great scenery. Parking can be a struggle if a car is already in the driveway.Then I would just park in street on top of driveway. But overall great place!

Location was excellent, the property was quiet, we had privacy while there, easy access and everything needed for our stay was provided for us. We were visiting our son and family who live a 5 minute drive from the casita.

My son and I were in town to visit my older son for a few days. We loved everything about the house. It was small and had everything we needed. We were allowed to check in early due to our flight arriving late morning. We took advantage of the patio in the mornings for coffee and the evenings to wind down the day. The parking spot was a little tight getting into with other guests staying in the bigger house but overall it was not an issue. We will be staying again.

Property was clean, everything worked, the bed very comfortable and the record player accompanied by older 78 speed records was a bonus. A privacy fence, which was not shown in the online photos, was both a plus and a minus. The view from patio was hindered, but it did offer privacy from the next door apartment.

We very much enjoyed our stay and the patio. Parking was not easy but other than that we loved it!!

The casita was very clean, tastefully decorated and adorable! The property management was friendly, professional and was genuinely concerned about making sure that I had a great stay. Excellent communication, easy check-in process, comfortable bed and couch and plenty of kitchen and bathroom linens. Shower is a tiny corner one with a shower curtain but the tile is lovely and clean. I would recommend this cute casita, it is well-equipped and very peaceful.

Very nice little casita. House was very comfortable with nice amenities. It’s located in the beautiful foothills in a very quiet neighborhood. Easy drive to downtown Tucson.

Home was just as described; clean, comfortable with a super firm bed. Airport is 30 minutes away but we were close to friends who live in the Catalina Foothills.

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was as listed. Clean and easy to access. To our benefit the big house was not rented at this time so all was peace and quiet. On the down side there was no real storage in the bedroom one small dresser not good for two people. If you are a tv watcher it is not friendly. Bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Location was great and easy access to all the thinks we like to do. Over all good rental.

Wonderful stay in a great neighborhood. Quail's Nest is cute and comfortable for the two of us. The big surprise for us was the fantastic location in Tucson. I would stay again.

My three days attending a conference so I spent not much time at the VRBO. What I really appreciated were the on site W/D, hot water, easy to regulate AC/heat and TV. I'm practical and in a hurry so these things matter to me! One note. If you arrive late after dark, the metal numbers for the key access are silver and difficult to see with bright phone flashlight reflection. The property folks were immediate in response. I got it on third try!

Always wanted to see Tucson and this was the perfect place to stay. We were out and about most days and this place was perfect: large enough for the two of us with all the essentials for daily living. Very restful. Loved being underneath the mountains - especially in the early morning. We would definitely book again. We are pretty particular about mattresses and this one was lerfwct - just right. Shower ver unique and fun.
