Prime Location

Walk Score: 98 | Transit Score: 100
<br>0.2 mi (5-min walk) to WA State Convention Center

0.4 mi (10-min walk) to Westlake Light Rail Station

Originally built in 1949 and remodeled in 1997, this apartment blends historic charm with modern comfort.

The Space:

You will feel immediately relaxed when you enter this 724 sq ft apartment on the 8th floor of a classic 1957-built Seattle building. It is beautifully decorated with soothing tones and relaxing designs throughout. A mix of different stylish lighting fixtures is to set the perfect moods and ambiance. Two bedrooms with a king and a queen size memory foam mattresses promise many restful nights. A queen-sized air mattress is available for friends and families. The kitchen is fully equipped with high-end stainless-steel appliances and all that you might need to whip up a meal. This is one of the few units in the building that has its own washer and dryer.

Shared recreation room and roof top deck with breathtaking views of Lake Union, downtown Seattle, and Capitol Hill. With walk score of 98, the apartment is centrally located where Capitol Hill meets Downtown Seattle. It offers unlimited amount of fun: from Pacific Place & Westlake shopping centers, theaters, the Monorail and Pike Place Market to the LGBTQ friendly bars, brunch spots, and boutiques galore.

Guest Access:

Guests have access to the entire condo unit and amenities of the secured-entry building including:

1- Pool Table and TV Lounge are on the first floor next to the lobby. Access can arranged with the concierge.

2- Rooftop deck offering great views of Seattle and a seating area. You will need your Key Fob to access the rooftop. Hours are 7am-10pm.

3- Trash and recycle on the 4th floor (outside through Exit door). Key Fob is needed.

The Neighborhood:

We are centrally located just steps from the Convention Center, Pacific Place, and Westlake Center. The condo is also within walking distance to the heart of Downtown, Pike Place Market, the Seattle waterfront as well as Capitol Hill. Light rail is also nearby to whisk you to and from the airport and other areas in and around Seattle.

Getting Around:

Located just 6 minutes from the stadium by car, with convenient bus access via Route 131 or the H Line for alternative routes.

Parking is NOT included with this condo, though there is often availability at nearby lots or at the metered curb.

Freeway Park Garage: Entrance on Hubbell Place, between Pike and Seneca Streets

Washington State Convention Main Garage: Entrance on 8th Avenue, between Pike and Seneca Streets

The area is well served by Uber and Lyft, is 5 blocks from light rail at Westlake Station to the airport and UW, and is just one block to the nearest bus stop.

Other Things to Note:

1- The condo is conveniently located in an urban environment and guests may hear noise and traffic from the streets below as would be the case in most large cities. From our experience, disruption is minimal, particularly when the windows are closed, but every guest may be different.

2- 1 spot parking is included. 'Compact Car' only. The garage spaces are smaller than standard so parking can be pretty tight. There is limited street parking in front of the building or overnight parking in WA state Convention parking garages. Street parking is free 8pm - 8am.

3- Each unit is equipped with an individual heating control knob; however, the maximum temperature is regulated by the building's HOA. We provide a portable heater for your comfort.

4-The Elektra is a 16-story high-rise built in 1949 and remodeled in 1997. While not brand-new or modern, it offers vintage charm and a comfortable stay in the heart of the city.

We loved our stay! We were able to walk to the aquarium, Pikes Place and the ferry station. Check in and check out were simple, and we loved having the kitchen to cook and reheat leftovers. We’d definitely stay here if we came back to Seattle!

Family of four visiting Seattle for the first time. Location was great! We could walk to everything we wanted to see or to the monorail/light rail station if needed. Apartment had everything we needed as a family and having a parking space included was a big benefit for us.

This unit is very nice. It’s clean. All surfaces were clean except the bathroom rail above the shower. But I cleaned that so it should be good for a bit. lolThe dryer wasn’t working. After some convincing, they were able to get a company on site to fix the next day. That was appreciated. This unit has everything you need. We cooked there. There’s a beautiful rooftop view that you can access. I would recommend this place. Bathroom could use some updating and de-molding (fan doesn’t work), but for a short stay it is no big deal. I would go back again. It was especially nice to have off-street parking.

This unit is very comfortable and it was very clean. Easy check in and great communication with the owner. Location is close to public transportation and tourist attractions are within walking distance. Adding it to my list of places to stay when I return to Seattle.

This place is lovely! Great location, secure building , and so many nice touches! We appreciated the air conditioners, laundry, and cold filtered water when we got there! The kitchen and entire place is well stocked! Appreciated the booster seat and coffee/ accessories. We really appreciated how responsive and accessible our host was! She had everything ready for us, was flexible with check-in, and answered all questions quickly! Such a breath of fresh air to have a local host!!

We flew into Seattle for The Stones concert. This unit was in a perfect spot to get to anywhere…Capital Hill, Pike Place Market, transit, Paramount Theatre, Convention Centre. Unit was as described. Clean (which is a big requirement for us!), well stocked, large.

Flew in to attend Kraken hockey and Seahawks football games. Unit was located approx. 10 minute walk to monorail (Hockey; Space Needle; Sciance Center) and light rail train (Football) which made it very conveniant. We walked back to unit from the football game (approx 30 walk) as it was nice evening. Restaurants, shopping, and bars within easy walking distance. Pike Place Market and Aquarium approx 30 minute walk.
