Totally Private Cozy studio in awesome Hartford with WiFi, AC

Terrible…absolutely terrifying arrival for me… The renter failed to communicate the room number, access code to the room, and/or a useable Wi-Fi connection… I was alone, unable to access my room, and received NO answers when I texted, repeatedly. Again, I texted repeatedly for help. I am 69 years old. Although I texted the “owner” repeatedly for help, I received, NO ANSWER. I was alone, in a strange city, it got dark, and I didn’t have the necessary information needed to access my room. So, I rented a room in a very expensive hotel because I was afraid to sleep on the street. My review is…avoid this VRBO scammer. Find a location where the renter lives in the area/is NOT an absentee landlord, and is honest. RUN, RUN, RUN, !!! What happened to me…I spent hours searching, and eventually found an incredibly expensive hotel for the nights of my stay…because I didn’t want to sleep on the street. Again…avoid this scammer at all costs.

I was a little worried to be right in downtown with just me and my daughter. But this location was very safe and cute shopping area around the apartment.

Great location, exactly as described. Everything you need is here. Cleaning crew could definitely do a better job, the bathroom faucet is a waterfall style l and it was not flowing properly so i reached my finger up in there and the gunk i pulled out was not fit for prime time! I should have gotten a pic but was too disgusted and washed my hands and just rinsed it for a long time. Shower was not as clean as I would have hoped and things could have been in general just been more sanitary. Check in process was fine, a little complicated but its the nature of the building. Would stay here again.

Your place was nice and fitting for the two of us. I would definitely rent again if I return to Hartford. Thanks for everything.

Perfect location for our trip. Fun atmosphere with outside entertainment. Great bathroom. Check in glitch that was resolved immediately. The only issue was attempting to get live television through our streaming services.

Place is very convenient and has the necessary basics. We were in town for a wedding and on a tight schedule, which i communicated to host when initially booking. When i still did not have check in information the morning we were supposed to check in i got worried and tried texting and calling host--no response. I started looking for other places, worried that there was some kind of an error. Check in instructions finally arrived 1.5hrs before time of checkin. I assume that host may not have wanted to provide that information too far in advance, but a simple response to my messages doesnt seem like too much to ask and would have allayed my worries.
