    Alex’s property is wonderful. It’s very well-equipped and beautifully decorated. Since we were staying longer, the full-size kitchen and the washing machine were great. We walked everywhere. Would definitely consider staying here again.

    We stayed in this property over a week and were very satisfied. It's is about a 20 minute walk into the center of the city and parking in Garages at the city center was easy and convenient. Private parking at the property. The owner was easy to deal with before and during the stay. It is quiet and we did not experience any excessive noise problems. Highly recommend.

    This is a modern, comfortable and convenient apartment which is beautifully appointed and catered for all our requirements. The covered and very spacious terrace is great for outdoor living even on the rainiest of days and it's only a short walk into the old town for shops, supermarkets, restaurants and public transport links. The owner, Alexander, was very helpful and accommodating and was usually on hand daily to provide useful and practical advice and information.

    This is a beautifully furnished and equipped house situated just 20 minutes on foot from the centre of this wonderful ancient city. Unfortunately we were not able to get much sleep whilst we were staying here. There is a train line about 40 metres in front of the house and trains run throughout the day and night generating considerable noise. Even worse than that, there is a hospital complex almost adjacent. Ambulance sirens can be heard throughout the day. Worst of all there is a helicopter landing pad close by and emergency patients are flown in at all hours of the day and night. Whilst the noise of the helicopters drowns out the sound of the trains, I'm not sure that's much of an upside. If the house were a mile away I'd love to come back. But with the decibels as they are, I would not consider it.

    The flat is a spacious one bedroom, that sleeps four using the sofa beds. We had four in our group and it didn't feel cramped. It is very stylish and nicely decorated. All the mod cons are there with sufficient kitchen equipment to be able to cook. Some of the electrical fittings could do with a little attention (loose power points and missing covers here and there) but generally everything was very nice. We were there in a heatwave and it was boiling hot at night, so maybe a pay-as-you-go air con would be nice. The flat is well located for walking into the old town for dinner and Freiburg is a great town to use as a base for driving into the Alsace and Interlacken and the Black Forest area. There is an off-road parking space right in front which is a real boon as parking in inner city areas can be tricky. The owner gave us a warm welcome and spoke excellent English (much better than our bad German). I can recommend this property.
