    The unit is inside Islander on the Beach. It is a heavenly and quiet place with beautifully landscaped gardens and right next to the ocean. It is located next to Coconut Marketplace with several choices for restaurants and a convenience store. We watched sunrise from the lanai almost every morning. The attractions in north shores and west shores are all within 30-45 mins drive. Strongly recommended.

    Beautiful setting! This condo was perfect for me... literally only 165 steps away from the tranquil ocean. My host was very warm and welcoming when I emailed about receiving my confirmation. I look forward to returning.

    Nice location with swimming pool and hot tub. Beach bar opens at 3pm for happy hour. We watched the sunrise from our balcony or on our walk every morning. Lots of people used the grills by the pool. Nearby restaurants were good, just a short walk to a few. Saw whales, and a monk seal beached near us one morning. Going to miss the sound of the waves waking up!

    We have stayed at the Islander several times but at another location in the same building. If you don’t need a full kitchen and want fairly inexpensive accommodations next to the beach then this is perfect. The view from the 3rd story lanai is great and the grounds are kept in great shape. The pool is very nice if you prefer less salt in your day. It was being power washed the last two days we were there but thankfully our unit had dualpane windows and doors to minimize the noise. We usually buy some snacks and make pbj sandwiches. There are plenty of places to eat at the nearby coconut market. And the Lava Lava Beach club is right on the beach with great food. This place is centrally located on Kauai so it’s easy to go north or south. We will come back.

    This was the perfect location that put us half way been north and south shores. Great shopping and food within walking distance. Great little bar on site. Balcony had the perfect view of sunrises. Loved this place.

    We loved this property and would definitely stay there again! The location is great. You can watch the sunrise from your balcony or walk 2 minutes and literally have your toes in the sand. We had a couple of issues to start with that were quickly resolved by the management company.

    This was a nice top-floor room with a great view of the pool area and ocean backdrop! The room was very clean and well stocked. Easy access via a lock box for check-in and great communication from the property manager. The property itself is in a great location in Kapaa within walking distance to a coffee shop, a few restaurants and some shops in Coconut Marketplace. The restaurant next door called Hukilau Lanai is very, very good. The property is well maintained with a nice pool and poolside bar with friendly bartenders. My only criticism is the bathroom could be slightly updated as it’s an original style tub and shower combo with a low shower head with not much water pressure; however, for the price it’s hard to beat. Very satisfied all around! Kauai is truly a bucket list island to visit!

    Kauai itself is the most beautiful place I’ve ever visited. And the unit we stayed in let us view much of that beauty. The lush grounds were impeccably cared for. Given the opportunity I would stay here again.
